Stormi Lewis doesn’t believe in love. How could she, if she’s never been in love or had any good examples of love? She’s a junior in high school who hasn’t had her first boyfriend, nevermind her first kiss. Love pretty much seems imaginary to her. Adam Gonzolez is all about love. He’s a hopeless romantic. He believes in love and knows that the right person is out there for him. He has a girlfriend, but something’s off. He’s not sure that they’re right for each other, or if he’s even in love with her. These two are in two completely different worlds. They have never met each other. What happens when the only thing that connects them brings them together?
Love. It’s such a dangerous thing. It can make you feel like you're on cloud nine one minute and like you’re falling through the depths of hell the next. It’s like a roller coaster. So many twists and turns with two possible outcomes at the end. You could love every bit of the action from the loopty-loop to the death drop, or you could come off hating it, scarred for life. That love is your brain playing one big, blissful trick on you, just for you to be broken in the end. Maybe I’m wrong, or maybe I’m the smartest person alive. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I ripped the covers off my body, with my eyes still closed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, getting out all the sleep and crust. I looked at my clock and saw the time read 7:00. I was so late. Why didn’t my alarm go off? Oh well. I picked up my phone and saw no texts, per usual. I got up and went to my closet. I wanted to wear sweats, but I promised Jaylah I would try to dress a little bit nicer. So I went with black sweatpants and a burgundy corset top, with my black Converse. I grabbed my phone and went into the bathroom. I put on my shower playlist and got in. I have a playlist for everything. Music is how I survive and navigate through this world. If I didn’t have it, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. I was singing to my favorite song, when I heard the bathroom door open. I poked my head out the shower and saw Darius usin
