"All of Me Belongs to You" is a gripping tale of loss and self-discovery that follows Sookie as she struggles to come to terms with the death of her beloved Bill. Despite feeling lost and alone, she finds solace in the company of her friends, but when she loses her last remaining family member, she feels the need to escape from the icy world around her. Packing her bags and leaving behind a message for her brother, Sookie sets out on a journey of self-discovery, hoping to find a new experience and a sense of purpose. But when Eric, a vampire she knows all too well, unexpectedly shows up, Sookie must confront her past and decide whether she is truly ready to move on.

Chapter 1

She couldn't fathom the possibility that he had really left her behind for good this time. Despite the fact that she was on the verge of crying once again, she went ahead and laid a few flowers on his grave. During the years, she and Bill had highs and lows, but there was never a lack of love between them, even during the times when he was not quite himself. It was awful to think of living in a world without him, but everyone else had already gone on. They went back to their previous life, and she went back to hers, despite the fact that nothing would ever be the same again for any of them.

She had suffered the loss of a great number of loved ones throughout the years. Initially, she spent time with her Gram, and then she hung out with Alcide and Tara. There was no one else for her to lose but Jason, at least no one else who would have such a significant influence on her life. The world around her looked more icy, and the depth of her melancholy was palpable. She need a departure from this location, even if just for a little interval of time. She prepared two suitcases and a message for her brother to read so that he would not be concerned.

She had no idea who she was anymore, and the upheaval that had surrounded her life for the last several years had caused her to lose herself in the process.

Even more troubling was the fact that she had no idea where she was heading. Just a location farther away from Bon Temps. She then shut the trunk of her vehicle after placing the last bag inside. She had a premonition of him even before he spoke.

"Eric, you are well aware that it is one of my pet peeves when you sneak up on me. She shifted her posture and faced him.

"Good to see you too Sookie." He grinned. "Headed in a certain direction."

"Yes, I am. What brings you to this place?"

"I came by your place of employment. Arlene informed me that you had some time off."

"Holy cow, you really had a conversation with her! I'm astonished."

"Well, it seems like she is now f*ck*ng a vampire, so..."

"Why do you have to be so disrespectful all the time?"

"Pardon me. She is in a relationship with a vampire."

She went around the front of the vehicle to the driver's side door, but he placed his hand on it to prevent her from opening it. "I'm just not in the mood right now. It would have been better for me to go while there was still daylight." When she turned around to look at him, she let out a sigh.

"So that's all there is? Because Bill is no longer around, does this mean that you are giving up?" He made a raised eyebrow expression.

"There's no way you could comprehend."

"Try me."

"It's simply that I need a new experience, all right."

"All right, it makes sense." He was kind enough to open the door of her automobile for her. "And where exactly are we going to go?"

"There is no use in continuing." She showed a knowing smirk.

"Why? I'm ready for a move to a new location." She let out a huff as he moved toward the door on the passenger side of the vehicle.

"Eric, I'm sorry but you won't be going with me."

"I'm not going to sit here and watch you get yourself into trouble," the other person said. When he climbed inside the vehicle, his legs collided with the dashboard. He fiddled with the seat until he could get it to extend back far enough to accommodate his height and weight.

"I really mean this. You're not coming, and the last time I checked, I'm perfectly capable of handling things on my own."

"You are aware that it is still not a good idea for you to be out in that area. You are detectable by the nose of any vampire within a mile's radius."

"And are you expecting me to be scared by that?" She showed a knowing smirk.

"It really should. Especially today, when there is a scarcity of True Blood and Hepatitis V vaccine, you're like a feast on wheels that you can wander around eating."

"But the treatment is already in your possession."

"It's not as easy as it seems," we were told.

"Okay, I am certain that all of you will figure it out; therefore, go."

"This self-assured attitude is appealing to me. It's a warm day."

"Eric..."

"Well, you mean that as a compliment. Can you still recall what exactly they are?"

"Well, all I really want to do is go. You're the one keeping me here on my feet."

"In which direction are you heading?"

"I really have no idea. Don't care."

"At the very least, you need to have a plan. It is not acceptable for you to just up and leave in the middle of the night."

"Follow my lead." She turned the car's ignition.

"It's not for nothing, but your automobile won't go you very far," the person said.

"Don't be rude about my automobile. Everything works out perfectly."

"That is not the case. It's a time bomb that might go off at any moment, and the last thing you need is to be powerless and trapped on the side of the road."

"Well, it's a good thing I am half fairy and can blast balls of light out of my hands," she said to herself. " She seemed annoyed and shook her head in response.

"At the very least, allow me to take you somewhere secure."

"It is not necessary for you to always be coming to my rescue. Your accountability does not extend to me."

"You are in fact correct. Bill asked me to guarantee that I would look after you."

"Now that Bill is gone, there is no need for concern about him. I will not let him know." She let out a sigh.

"Once upon a time, we were pals. On top of that, much more. Let me assist you."

"The very last thing I need is assistance of any sort from you."

"Well, I find it really offensive."

"Eric, we are not together and we never will be," she said.

"You are aware that you continue to make statements such as "won't" and "can't" in this context. Why don't you just give in and take the aid when it's provided to you?"

"Because I do not want your assistance, Eric, and to tell you the truth, I do not even want to come into contact with your sort at all."

"My kind? Do you not think that is a bit too severe?"

"Can you just go out, please?"

"I am the proud owner of a property in Italy. You are free to remain there for as long as you want and conduct as much introspection as you like."

You have a villa in Italy, is that right? She gave him the side look and rolled her eyes.

"Why is it so difficult to trust that? I have residences in many different places." He grinned. You are not the only one who feels the need to take a break from time to time; many others do."

"I won't be traveling to Italy."

"Why shouldn't they? That is quite attractive. Have you gone to that there before?"

"No."

"If that's the case, it's over."

"Not in this way, Eric; this is not how it works. You don't simply get to make choices for me."

"Please make yourself at home at my house."

"Oh, thank you, but I'm not grateful."

"I'll simply get you there, and then I'll leave you to your own devices. I don't intend to come out as harsh, but there is more to my life than just you, Sookie."

"And that is precisely why you need to remain here and let me simply go anywhere I want to go," the speaker said. "It's imperative."

It has an indoor swimming pool as one of its amenities. He grinned.

"I'm not interested."

Have you ever sampled pasta that is made in its country of origin?

"Have you?" She cocked her head to the side.

"I'm sorry, but I've heard that it's incredible. You are free to use my automobiles as well as everything else I own."

"Eric, tell me honestly, why are you doing this?"

"I owe you."

"You owe me nothing, so stop acting like it. The last three years have been absolutely insane, but what's done is done."

"I have access to a private jet, and I can fly you there as soon as tomorrow."

"When I boarded one of your aircraft the last time, someone made an attempt to murder us; do you remember that?"

"Eh. Everything is now in the past. There is currently no one planning to murder me."

"If I may venture a guess. I mean, who can say for sure? Throughout the last one thousand years, I have no doubt that you have accumulated a large number of adversaries."

"And yet I haven't been murdered yet."

"Not through a lack of effort on our part." She then shut off the car's engine. "I just need some normality, alright. It doesn't matter whether it's vampires, werewolves, or witches; I just don't want to think about them."

"I hear ya. That takes a lot of energy." He grinned. "Sookie, let me to take care of this for you. After ensuring your safety at the destination, I shall continue on my journey."

"I can't say for sure."

"What further information is available? You are going to have a fantastic time on vacation in one of the most exciting cities on the planet. Since you will be so preoccupied with enjoying the time of your life, you won't have any mental capacity left over for anything else."

"You are well aware that you are quite the piece of work." She gave him a cheeky eye roll as she laughed at him.

I'll take it as a complement, thank you very much.

"Don't." She gave a little nod in response.

"Have I mentioned that it's in the middle of a vineyard? There was no one in the area for miles. It seems to be a calm and serene environment."

The concept that one could not hear the thoughts that were going through the heads of other people seemed incredible. No matter how far she ran, she was unable to escape the one thing that followed her wherever she went. There were individuals present at all times. "And just where is it that you are?"

"All it takes is a quick phone call."

It was almost like a case of déjà vu to be back on his jet, with the exception that they weren't going to Texas this time. To everyone's relief, Eric spent the most of the trip dozing out. The flight there took more than 10 hours to complete.

The journey from the airport was just stunning in its beauty. Maybe this was just what she needed. She needs some time away in a different nation to clear her head. It pained her to concede it, but it seemed as if Eric was onto something.

Everything was just how he had said it would be in his villa. It was set on acres of land and was encircled on all sides by a stunning vineyard. In all seriousness, Eric was still capable of surprising us in this situation even now. She was met right away by his crew, and as soon as they started taking her baggage, she had the distinct impression that she was being treated like royalty.

"I'm good to go. I'm fine. I'm good to go." She hurriedly gathered her belongings and then entered the building.

"Miss Stackhouse, your room is located in this direction." She received a kind grin from one of the ladies who seemed to be older.

Hey, you may simply refer to me as Sookie if you want.

"Oh, Miss Sookie, we just finished putting the finishing touches on the room," said the man. Sookie let out an audible gasp when the more senior lady opened the door. It was stunning, and in many ways it reminded her of her own bedroom in her old house. It had the same muted tones as before. "Is it to your liking?"

"Eric, was this thing completed?" She couldn't believe that he could even recall what the layout of her bedroom was like. He had been absent from it for many years. Her thoughts started to wander back to that time and the happy memories they had enjoyed together. That was, of course, before everything started going to hell in a handbasket.

"Yes. He want for you to enjoy every convenience that you had back at your house. First, allow me to show you around the rest of the premises, and then I'll start preparing lunch for you.

When the tour was finally done, it was only a little after two in the afternoon. After eating a light lunch, Sookie went to sleep almost immediately. It had been a long day, but much more so, it had been a long year. The way she felt, she may as well have been able to sleep forever.

Yet, she suffered from a disturbed sleep pattern that was punctuated by nightmares. She desperately tried to block out the images. Having the opportunity to look into Bill's eyes one more time before he collapsed in front of her. She sat herself up in the pitch black and exclaimed in surprise as she came to. When she gazed about, she became confused and bewildered.

"Worrying dreams?" When Eric took a seat in a chair on the other side of the room, she switched on the light that was located next to the bed.

"Eric, what the heck is going on here?" When she massaged her eyes, she let out a huffing sound.

"Wow, it is an interesting way to welcome me," the man said. He stood there, grinning to himself.

"It's frightening that you simply sit there and watch me sleep," the person said.

"I was almost tempted to go into bed and pretend it was the good old days," she said.

"There were no simpler times in the past." She yawned. "Can you tell me the time?"

"If my memory serves me well, there were a few months when life was good as it used to be."

"Yes, but it wasn't really happening, so..."

"I know you keep repeating that, but in my experience, it was really genuine."

"You had completely forgotten everything that had happened. You weren't even aware of your own identity."

"And even after a million times of me telling you that, it was still me."

"I don't want to dispute with you," the other person said. She was aware of how meaningless it was. He has the same dogged determination that she did. She got out of bed and stretched before starting her day.

After supper, we're going out, and I've asked Maria to take care of the cooking. He proceeded on foot to the entrance.

"I assumed that we had reached an agreement that you would just bring me here."

"I also said that I intended to provide you with a comprehensive tour. So, get dolled up. Have you brought the outfit in blue that I really like?" He grinned.

First of all, the fact that you even enjoy blue dresses is strange enough on its own. What's even worse is that you prefer blue dresses.

"Perhaps very romantic in nature. It really depends on what perspective you choose." He smiled. "You can find me in the basement." Once he had gone, she heaved a sigh. As she agreed to go along with his scheme, she was well aware of the consequences she would face as a result. To tell you the truth, at this point she had no one but herself to blame save for herself. At least, he was going to leave very soon, so she wouldn't have to think about the outside world for too long.

She caught up on her text messages from Jason and Jessica, who were both on their honeymoon with Hoyt. Jessica was the one who was on her honeymoon. She did not divulge to them the location to which she had traveled. She didn't need any more rumors to be spread about her life, hell no. As she brought out her wardrobe, the blue sundress that Eric had mentioned made her sigh, and she put her items away. That was her favorite, just as it was mine. Instead, she elected to wear a bright red sundress. She then walked downstairs after pulling her hair back into a ponytail and doing so.

The dining area was so large that it could easily accommodate an entire army. As soon as she walked through the door, Eric glanced up from the newspaper he was holding. She would never acknowledge it out loud, but he had always been stunningly handsome despite the fact that she would never admit it. He was dressed in black pants and a white button-down shirt with a black tie. He presented an appearance that was worthy of being on the cover of a magazine. After setting the paper down, he got up and grinned broadly as he walked away from the table.

"I think I've found a new go-to dress in this one."

Sookie rolled her eyes. "You are aware that the way I dress is not intended to impress you." She made her way over to the chair that he had specifically set out for her. At the very end of the table, right next to him, it was there. Standing there, he gave off the appearance of royalty.

"Sookie Stackhouse, you never cease to amaze me," he said. When he waited for her to take a seat, he sat down himself. "I had Maria prepare some Involtini alla romana." His pronunciation of Italian was spot on.

"And what would it be?"

"From what I've been told, it's rather delectable." He took another drink of his wine, and she reached for her own glass. "I think we need to raise a glass."

"To pals."

"At this time." Once he had corrected her, he went on to drink his wine as she rolled her eyes at him. In just a few moments, Maria emerged from the kitchen with a large platter of food. It seemed to be some kind of beef and carrots folded into one package. That had the most delightful aroma.

"Wow, this is very impressive." She started to eat, and as she did so, she let out a quiet groan because of how delicate the meat was. Eric did nothing except watch her as she slowly took in each flavor and relished it. "What?" She gave him a glance as she was chewing her meal and gazed at him.

"Nothing. I am delighted you are enjoying it."

"You didn't have to go through all of this bother for me, and I really appreciate it. A sandwich would have satisfied my hunger just fine."

"I know, but there are moments when it's good to relax and appreciate the more refined aspects of life."

"I never in a million years would have guessed you for this type of lifestyle." She smiled wryly as she chewed her food.

"I believe it's safe to say that there is a lot about me that you don't know," we can both agree. His eyes had such an alluring allure. She was distracted by them for a little period.

"You are aware that despite your best efforts, you cannot charm me." She took another bite out of her food.

"Strangely enough, I never had the desire to. Since I am aware that you do everything solely out of your own free will and not because someone else forced you to, I find it to be one of the most interesting aspects of our relationship."

The way he spoke caused a knot to form in her throat. She had an overwhelming sense of helplessness as she sat there with him. "Yes, well, who would turn down free meals and a villa in Italy?" "Oh, well, that's a good question." She responded promptly despite the fact that her heart was racing.

"I find it endearing that after everything, I can still make you scared."

"Being in your presence does not make me anxious." She is lying. Suddenly, she felt a tremendous amount of anxiety whenever she was near him. Since he had regained his recollection, this was in all honesty the very first time that the two of them had been alone in such a setting. She detested the fact that recollections from the past surfaced. Her imagination was flooded with images of them making love for hours on end. She made an effort to disregard them. How far along is Fangtasia in the upgrades that have been planned? She made an effort to divert her attention elsewhere.

"Would you be interested in taking me up on my offer of employment there?" He smiled.

"That is probably the last place I would ever want to work, and I may go back to school and get a degree or something," she said. "Also, I may go back to school and get some kind of certification."

"College Sookie is something that I am interested in seeing." She licked his lips in an alluring manner.

"Eric, not everything has to revolve on s*x," I told him. She rolled her eyes, but considering that everything with them was usually about s*x, she shouldn't have been surprised. All kinds of things happened to her as a result of the fact that she had previously been with him and was aware of what his body was capable of doing behind those garments.

"S*x makes everything better."

"In point of fact, it doesn't."

"If my recollection serves me well, you did not get any complaints about that department."

"It happened quite a while ago. I have a hazy recollection of it."

"Ouch, it must be really painful."

"Come on Eric, it's not like you haven't been sleeping your way around the eastern shore," said the person to the other.

"I will not apologize for having fun in my own company." He grinned. "But, for the sake of the record, I am able to recall every detail." He took each sip of his drink quite gently.

She struggled to swallow as the atmosphere surrounding them became more dense. She eventually got to her feet. "You are probably aware that I have no plans to leave the house this evening. I'm still jet lag." When she turned around, he was already there, and she let out a gasp. "Don't act in such manner."

"Sookie, you are now in Italy. You won't have any trouble getting enough rest later on. I have preparations in the works."

"Eric is working on a plan. Surprise, surprise." She showed a knowing smirk.

"No, not at all like that, but there is some place I want to take you. I beg you not to refuse me. I am completely at your disposal." He gave a kind grin.

I do not believe that Eric Northman has ever been at the mercy of anybody else. She returned his teasing smile with a grin of her own.

"Sookie, will you come out with me? Let me to enlighten you on the many aspects of the nightlife." He extended his hand to her and she took it.

"That's OK with me, but I'd rather not stay out too late." She reached out and placed her hand in his, at which point he firmly grasped it.

"If you do this, you won't regret it."

"I have serious doubts about it."

Chapter 2

They made their way outside once she had finished her meal, and once they were there, she walked over to the parked car.

Oh, we won't be having that for dinner tonight. When he stopped her, she looked at him with a perplexed expression on her face. He extended his hand to her and she took it. As she approached him, she had to force herself to swallow her anxiety. It brought back fond memories of the time when he flew her home after breaking the news to her that Bill had decided to end his life.

"Is there something wrong with the car?" She approached him, and he smiled in response.

"Not in this case."

She reached out and placed her hand in his.

"Do you trust me?" He cocked his head to the side.

"Sometimes." She giggled nervously, and then he lifted her up as she gasped for air while he did so. He held her in his arms as though she had no weight. Being in such close proximity to him had a greater impact o
