A man was sitting in the corner of the room, staring at a photo of a teen which he kept in his wallet. There was a mild smile on his lips.

"You don't realise how important I am to you. When I am gone, you will be left with nothing but regret for not taking my signals and proposing to me" He smiled when he remembered the words she said to him when they were teens. Tears brimmed in his eyes which he refused to shed.

"Love" he quickly wiped the tears from the corner of his eyes when someone kept a hand on his shoulder. 

"How often have I told you not to call me with my nickname anymore... It's Liam" he said and turned. He forced a smile on his lips when he noticed how his Mom's smile withered hearing him 

"What happened?" he asked, holding his mother's hand in his.

"Everyone is going to Alpha Ryan's pack for Jenny's death anniversary. Would you like to join us?" His mother, Aana, asked softly, knowing how hard it is for her son to hear that Jenny is no more.

"No... Why would I go there? Moreover, it's you all who accepted that she died... I didn't... She is alive, "he said. Aana forced a smile and shook her head.

"If that was the truth then why are you marrying her little sister, Angelina, the day after tomorrow?" She questioned.

"Because I wanted our pack to combine with her father's pack. It will help us to grow." He smirked and walked towards the maid who was holding his coat. 

"Do you love Angelina?" His mother asked.

"I'm marrying her, Mom... That reason should be enough to end this topic. I'm going to the human world to kill the criminal who gave our information to the enemy pack," he said.

"You can send anyone... Why are you going?" She asked, not liking how his son is running away from reality. She knows he was going just to keep himself busy and not think about his best friend, Jenny.

"Because I want to go. That traitor should realise he messed up with the wrong Alpha." He said and walked out of the room without waiting for his mother's response. Aana sighed and looked up at the sky.

"If Jenny is alive, then bring her back to my son's life, Moon Goddess, and if she is not, then please send someone who brings happiness to my son's life again," she prayed.

Liam sat in his car and looked at Jenny's picture last time before putting his wallet in his coat pocket near his heart. He rolled down the window when his beta, Vince, knocked on it. 

"Alpha Liam," Vince bowed his head and opened the door to sit beside his Alpha. He passed some photos to his Alpha.

"This is the red club where that criminal went every Saturday to buy a girl for a night and have fun." He muttered, giving the details of the criminal to his Alpha. 

"Buy?" Liam raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah .. this girl sells their body for fun and earning. Thompson is their regular customer," Vince replied and gestured to the driver to start the car. 

Liam was looking at the pictures when his eyes got stuck on one picture in which Thompson was having dinner, but Liam's eyes were stuck on the girl behind him, who was sitting at a distance wearing a hoodie and a black mask. Only her eyes were visible but that was enough to keep him captivated.

"Who is she?" Liam asked Vince, pointing towards the girl.

"I don't know... What I heard is that only the girls who worked there are allowed to go inside the Club. So she must be one of." Before Vince could complete, Liam showed him his palm and tore that photo into several pieces and threw it out of the window.

After an hour, they reached the human world. His car was stuck in traffic.

"What the hell is this? Clear the traffic?" Liam growled, tapping his foot. For some reason, he had a strange feeling as if he knew something was going to happen today that would change his life. His eyes went to the rear mirror of the car, where he saw the same girl whom he had seen in the photo, wearing a black hoodie and a mask, distributing food to homeless people sitting at the corner of the road.

He lifted his nose in disgust when he saw a beggar keep his dirty hand over that woman's forehead. He was looking at her when the car started. His eyes didn't let her sight go until the car turned.

"She was magical," his wolf, Leo, said.

"She was gross," Liam replied, knowing his wolf was a pure-hearted person, but Liam was not. 

"Alpha.. we are here", Vince said and hopped out of the car. He walked to the other side and opened the door for Liam, who walked out and tied the two buttons of his black coat. He was completely dressed in black, implying the dark and dangerous aura around him. His posture shows how powerful he is, so no one wants to come to his wrong side, but along with his dark side, there was something in him that caught every girl's attention. They were all ogling over him, seeing how handsome he was.

Liam ignored everyone and walked into the club. Every girl around him was trying their best to get his attention. Every move of seduction was for him but his eyes were looking around for only Thompson. He looked at Vince in annoyance when he didn't find his prey.

"He must be on his way" Vince muttered and gestured his Alpha towards the VIP section. He ordered two drinks for his Alpha, but Liam didn't touch his drink.

"She is here," Leo muttered. Liam frowned and straightened his back.

"She? Who?" He asked and then looked around. His eyes fall on a woman... A walking goddess wearing a red short dress which hardly covers anything. Her large twins were suffocating and begging to come out as her dress was too short and it's hardly covering her cheeks.. Her milky thighs were enough to make a man fall on his knees. Every curve was perfectly on display. She was wearing a mask which covered half of her face, only her eyes and lips were visible. It was like her existence was enough to seduce any man and beg for her attention.

"Moon Goddess" Liam muttered when she walked towards the other girls, swaying her legs in a perfect rhythm. He could feel himself getting hard, something that he had never felt. He never found any woman attractive enough to get his attention, but here he was, unable to remove his eyes from her. He tightened his fist when he saw her climb the stairs and start dancing on the pole. Every man was shouting for her, wanting to hold her, have her, but she was ignoring everyone. She was just moving her body, enjoying the music until her eyes fell on Liam. She felt like her entire world froze... She froze on the stage and then she and Liam had an intense eye contact. Liam's eyes shot up when he felt a strange thread pulling him towards her, and then he heard the word that he never imagined to hear.

"Mate"

Liam felt his world shaken with just a word from his Wolf's mouth. He bowed his head slightly and laughed sarcastically, shaking his head, seeing how life never misses a chance to mess with him. He stopped laughing and raised his head to look at the girl with a deadpan face. Her eyes were still fixed on his face. No emotion on her face.

"Our mate," Liam's wolf, Leo, started jumping in his head, wanting to go near their mate. 

"Stop it ... If you don't want me to kill her," Liam hissed, watching that woman getting down from the stage. She started walking towards him, looking at him without blinking her eyes.

"Arghh... My mate is a pathetic woman... What rubbish games are you playing with me, Moon Goddess?" He cursed under his breath, trying to hate the walking goddess before him. He thought, like every woman in the club, she would jump on him.

"You want to kill our mate?" Leo asked shockingly.
