Chapter 1
One mission, that’s all it took to ruin my life, to ruin my legacy and to ruin everything I have ever worked for, I can still remember this day as if it happened yesterday, the events that still haunted me and changed my life.
It was a good evening, I was in the club, dressed in a strapless blue dress that exposed a good amount of my cleavage, the dress was very short, with a fake blonde hair that rested against my boobs, and a matching heel, I looked attractive enough to gain anyone’s attention, that’s how I wanted it to be.
I glanced across the room, the loud music barking through my ears and the lights flashing through my ears, I gave the bartender a smile when he handed me over another free drink, that was the fifth drink I got since I stepped into the club, I wasn’t here for that, I was waiting for him.
The only person I came for today and I knew he would be here, I was informed me after monitoring his moves for five months, I knew that he came here every Friday night, he picked up a woman, and he slept with her in one of the rooms, tonight is his lucky day because I am going to be that woman.
My eyes kept scanning across the room, I had a smile on I watched he walked into the room, beside him was Antonio, his best friend, and he has a couple of men with him, he never came to any place alone; he always had Antonio beside him, I knew that much after stalking him.
I watched as he headed into his private lodge and the ladies were staring at him, it doesn’t matter because I am the one he will be taking to the room upstairs, I had a smile on my face when I watched one of the dancers try her luck, and he pushed her away.
He was like me in some ways; he likes a challenge; he likes a strong willful woman, and I am all that he wants tonight.
I raised my hand up, and I signaled the bartender to get here; he headed toward me with a smile on his face, he leaned toward my ear so he will be able to hear.
“Get me the most expensive drink in the club.” I whispered, and he pulled away with his eyes widened.
“It’s five hundred thousand dollars.” He said, and I smiled, I knew that, he didn’t think I didn’t make research before coming here.
“Take it to the gentleman over there and tell him it’s from me.” I smiled, he looked surprise when I pointed toward the man I wanted him to talk to, and he just smiled, and he gave me a nod.
It’s going to be all worth it is in the end; that’s a little money for the price I am going to get after this is done, and it won’t even place a dent in my account, I knew that much.
I could have to pretend to be dumb and heart broken to get him to take me to bed, but he was not like that. He didn’t get to where he is if he was, he is smart, he can tell between right and wrong, and he knew taking advantage is wrong, I wanted this to work out so badly, I tried it for a month on a couple of men like him, and it worked all the time.
My eyes caught as the bartender handed over the drink, and he pointed toward me; I didn’t smile, instead I looked away, and I took a sip my of drink.
Anyone would want to be I rested in the woman who buys them the most expensive drink in the club, he could coke up here and say thank you, or rather he will send someone to come and get me, he would want to know where I got that money, and it’s a good thing my identity would go perfectly with the reason why I had so much money.
I gulped down my drink when I felt a hand touch my shoulder, I pulled away and when I turned I had a smile on my face.
Men are so predictable, they never change, it’s always the same pattern with every other man, they think they are different, but they are really not, they think they can’t be easily manipulated, but it’s not the case, they all have their strings and only the precious women are able to pull the strings perfectly, and I guess I am one of them.
He headed toward my side, and he sat on the other side and he had a frown on his face when one of his friends headed toward us with the bottle I got for him, and he kept it on the table.
“I don’t take gifts from strangers.” He said in a husky voice, and I smiled.
“Katherine.” I whispered, “now you know my name, I am not a stranger anymore.” I teased, and his eyes darkened, he didn’t have to say it, but with the way, his eyes were on my boobs, I knew he liked what he had seen. Not only that, but I just needed to stretch this for a while.
Not only that, but I need him to invite me back to his lodge, I need him to introduce me to his friend and to Antonio, especially Antonio, and then he needs to take me back to the room, the special room I have always heard about.
I gave him one quick smile before my hand softly riches the bottle and I popped it open, imported myself a glass of it and I did the same for him too.
“Why?” He asked, I always knew he didn’t talk much, he is a man of few words, a man with authority, and he didn’t like the thought of beating around the bush.
“Why what?” I asked, he moved closer to me and his hand made contact with mine, his green eyes were on mine and his grip got tighter.
He had thought that would scare me, but it didn’t.
“Let go.” I gritted through my teeth, a wave of anger washed over me, his eyes flaming into mine when he pulled tighter and he smiled.
“Join me in my VIP section.” He said, my eyebrows furrowed confused when he smirked, and he pulled away from me.
What got into him? What kind of person he was, one time he seemed like he was trying to hurt me, and now he is inviting me into his VIP section.
My plan was working, I gave him a smile when I retrieved my drink from the table and I gulped it down before I headed toward the lodge with him.
When we got there, I sat beside him, he had his hand on my lap, he is a man of confident, and he was cocky, I hated men like him, I had to tolerate him for a few more hours.
I was about to speak when I felt my head hurting softly, I rested my head on the chair and I felt a wave of adrenaline wash over me. I only had three drinks, I can’t feel like this.
Not only that, but I looked back at him when a smile appeared on his face, and I could feel myself loosing every sense of responsibility.
Chapter 2
My heart was throbbing when I woke up, I felt my throat getting itchy and without opening my eyes fully, I reached out for the glass of water and I gulped it down, it was like a wake-up call when my eyes widened and I woke up.
I twirled around, and I found him beside me; he was fast-asleep, my heart was racing in my rip-cage, I felt a wave of nervousness was over me, I glanced avoids the room when I saw my clothes on the floor, when I looked down I realized I was naked, I quickly wore my clothes and I looked back at him.
He was not meant to sleep with me; this was not meant to happen, he should not even be alive; my eyes filled with tears when I realized he was breathing, I took everything that belonged to me, that could trace me back to him when I realized I can’t find my phone.
what the hell have I done, I need to get a hold of myself and get the hell out of here.
That’s the most important, I headed toward the other side of the room searching for it, I need
