I wasn’t sure about this book when I first started reading it. The brutality of it from the beginning was ruthless. But as you continue you reading you start to see the actual love story start to develop. I would have like to have seen his mother live thru the accident, it would have made the ending with the family better. Not sure if she lived how the ending with his father would have been. Barbra deserved what she got in the end, her father didn’t seem as bad as she was and kept trying to convince her to move on.
