Chapter 1

OLIVE

Already dressed in a black leather mini skirt and a black crop top, I sat down to put on my boots. It was a few minutes past nine and the perfect time to leave the house. I stared at myself in the mirror for the last time, my hair already packed in a ponytail. Satisfied with my look, I picked up my coat and was ready to leave through the window when the door opened.

"Olive?" My twin sister called and I turned. "Where are you going dressed like this?" She asked, her arms folded.

"I don't think I owe you an explanation," I answered, adjusting my bag. "What are you doing in my room? You should be sleeping you know."

"That doesn't answer my question. Where are you heading, dressed in this manner? Do you even know what the time is?"

I sighed. "I do not owe you an explanation but since you care to know. I am going to the club."

She furrowed her brows. "You are joking right?". I ignored her and opened the window. "You can't leave the house by this time, you know that."

I turned to face her. "You should go to sleep, Olivia the perfect daughter of the Williams family. You will not want your mother to see you talking to me."

Olivia sighed. "Olive, you can't keep...". I could tell she was about to bore me with her talk. I ignored her and jumped out of the window. "Olive, you can't go out through the window. Olive! You should come back here!" Olivia yelled after me.

"I am not coming back!" I yelled back. "And you can go to hell for all I care!". I gave her my middle finger before running away.

I found my way to the street and hailed a taxi to join my best friends already waiting for me at the club. The taxi stopped after a while, and I stepped out after paying my fare. I could see Claire and Lucy, my best friends already waiting.

"Hello, best friends." I cooed, waving at them.

They ran towards me, pulling me into a hug.

"Olive, it's good to see you. We thought you would not be making it here tonight." Claire said, and I smiled.

"You know I will never miss this for anything"

"I knew you would be here. I told Claire you would." Lucy answered.

"Can we get going now? I can't wait to roll my waist." I said, dancing slightly.

"You're a naughty girl!" Claire hit me slightly.

We entered the club and found our way to the bartender's stand.

"Olive! Claire! And of course, Lucy." Adams, the bartender cooed. "It's good to see you girls."

I pulled a stool backward and sat down. "A glass of vodka tonic, please."

"As your lordship pleases." Adam bowed, and I nodded.

"How is your sister, Olivia?" Claire asked.

"You mean the perfect daughter of the Williams family," Lucy said, with a laugh.

"I heard she is getting married soon," Claire answered.

"To the only son of the Campbell family," Lucy whispered.

"Your vodka is here," Adams said, and I took the cup from him.

"Thanks," I muttered, before sipping from it.

"Isn't he the reckless son who has no interest in the family's business?" Claire asked.

"Yes. But I heard he is a billionaire and is doing pretty well in his business," Lucy answered.

"I thought no one knew what business he was into?" Claire asked.

Lucy shrugged. "He owns a modeling company, I heard, but I am not sure about that."

"I heard he is into drugs" Claire whispered and I groaned.

I was becoming frustrated with their conversation, so I began to hum a song.

"You are not saying anything," Claire said and I furrowed my brows.

"About what?"

"Everything. We just talked about your sister getting married, and you said nothing about it."

"How is that my business?"

"Are you not going to miss her?" Claire asked and I scoffed.

I gulped down the vodka content in my cup and dropped the cup on the table.

"One more glass with a lot of tonic. I need to relieve myself of some stress, please."

Adams nodded, picking the cup up.

"Your family is lucky to have a connection with the Campbells" Claire continued.

I frowned. I wasn't here to talk about my sister's marriage to the Campbells or my family's connection with them.

"I am worried about their son though," Lucy said.

"Are we really, going to keep talking about this?" I asked, standing up. "Maybe I should find myself, another club to go to. A place I will not have to listen to you girls talk about my sister."

Lucy chuckled. "We are sorry. We shouldn't be talking about this. We were just curious, you know.". I glared at her and she chuckled slightly. "Fine. I won't say a word about that again."

Adams handed over my glass of vodka to me and I gulped down everything on the go.

"How about we go and roll some waists" Claire suggested. "I am beginning to get uncomfortable with the awkwardness between us."

I nodded in agreement. We stood up to join the crowd, rolling our waists to the tune of the music. After dancing for a while, I felt hot and needed some fresh air.

"I will be outside" I yelled to Lucy who was beside me. With the loud music, I doubted if Lucy heard me. I tapped her slightly, and she turned to face me. "I will be outside to get some fresh air," I said, pointing at the door.

She nodded but said nothing. I watched her return to her dancing and I shrugged before finding my way out of the club. I found a nice place to sit, stretching my legs, and staring at the sky. A few boys were smoking beside me and I had to scare them away.

"If you do not leave here now, I will call the police on you and tell them you are minors.". I threatened them and they ran away.

They must be minors. I thought with a shrug.

Satisfied with what I had done, I began to hum a song. The weather was nice, and the sky was clear.

What a beautiful night. I thought.

Chapter 2

"Hi, beauty" someone interrupted me. I ignored him and kept staring at the sky. "Can I sit beside you?" he said, and I rolled my eyes to the side to stare at him.

"What if I ask you not to?"

"I will leave" he muttered, and I shrugged.

"Then I bet you should leave now."

"Don't you think that is a bit too harsh?" he asked, sitting beside me.

"I am sure I told you not to sit."

"Well," he began, but I was too angry to listen to what he had to say.

I stood up without listening to what he was saying and entered the club.

"Where did you go?" Claire asked.

They were sitting at the bar taking some alcohol.

"I told Lucy I was going to get some fresh air. She did not tell you?" I asked, sitting on the stool beside Claire.

"Is that what you were trying to tell me?" Lucy asked.

I scoffed. "Is that what you were trying to tell me," I mimicked her, and they laughed.

"There are so many handsome guys here," Claire muttered
