Annotation

"Oh, f*ck!" I moaned, one of my hands on the wall while the other found its way to cover my mouth. "This is so… so f*ck*ng good… oh sh*t; I never want this to end." "It never will, my goddess." I felt his hot breath on my ear from behind and wanted more. "More, I want more," I said in gasping whimpers. "Give me more…" The thrusting became more intense. Then, he suddenly stopped. "Oh no," he said, worry evident on his face. "I think the condom broke." "It's okay," I said, trying to keep my voice calm. "There's no need to worry. I can't get pregnant, so there's nothing to worry about. Keep going. Give me more and more. Please, don't stop again." *** Aria Hayes felt her life crumbling when she received a notification that Dominic, her fiance, was going to be the father of another woman's child. After an intense confrontation, Aria was left to confront the painful reality of their shattered relationship. Soon, Aria encountered Isaac Evan, leading to an unexpected passionate night. Even though the condom accidentally broke during their one-night stand, Aria wasn't worried - after all, one of the reasons she broke up with her ex-fiance was that she couldn't get pregnant. However, a few weeks later, Aria found out she was pregnant...

Chapter 1 It's All Over

Aria POV

I stood there, frozen in place, staring at the text on my phone. My heart was beating, and my hands were shaking.

I couldn't believe what I was reading. How could someone be carrying Dominic's child? We've been together for a few years. This had to be a mistake. Or worse - a cruel prank.

But as I re-read the message over and over, I knew in my heart that this was real. And I had to confront Dominic. I had to find out the truth.

I took a deep breath and headed to the living room, where Dominic was watching TV. I approached him, trying to steady my voice.

"We need to talk," I said, my voice quivering.

He turned to face me, his expression puzzled. "What's wrong?" he asked, a hint of concern in his voice. "What's going on?"

"I got a message," I started, my voice fracturing under the weight of the words, "from someone claiming... claiming she's pregnant with your child."

His eyes widened, and his mouth opened, but no words came out.

"Is it true?" The question hung heavily in the air, my heart thundering against my ribs.

Dominic's silence was louder than any confession.

"Aria, there's something I need to tell you," he finally murmured, the tremor in his voice betraying his usual calm demeanor. "I know it's going to be hard for you to hear, but I have to be honest with you."

I braced myself for the worst. "What is it?" I asked, my heart sinking.

"I…I've been unfaithful," he said, his eyes pleading for forgiveness. "I'm so sorry. I know it was wrong, and I can't justify it. I've broken your trust, and I know that's something that can't be easily repaired. But I want to try. I love you so much, and I'm so sorry for what I've done."

"You love me? You love me and you do this? Why because you think I can't give you a child?"

"I'm sorry, Aria...I was under a lot of pressure and you and I know we have tried many times to get you pregnant and it didn't work..." he said, his eyes pleading for me to understand.

"It doesn't excuse what you did. I thought we were building a life together, but you were building a secret life with someone else. How could you do that?"

"I know it was wrong," he said, his voice full of regret. "I should have been honest with you from the beginning. But I was afraid of what you would think of me, and I was afraid of losing you."

I scoffed. "You have lost me from the moment you decided to start cheating on me. You have lost me from the moment I received the text that your other woman is pregnant with your child. And how the heck did the B*tch get my contact huh?" I asked.

He hung his head, unable to meet my eyes. "I don't know," he said. "I don't know how she got your number. I never told her anything about you. I swear."

"I don't believe you," I said, the tears welling up, betraying the storm inside me. "Every word you say now feels like another lie. How can trust ever grow again from such betrayal?"

"I understand your anger, Aria," he replied, his voice laced with regret. "I've shattered something precious. But please, let me try to mend it, however long it takes."

I shook my head, the hurt was too deep, too raw. "You didn't just break my trust, Dominic. You broke us."

There was silence between us as we both looked at each other. Then he broke the silence.

"You think this was easy for me?" Dominic's voice broke, his plea laced with desperation. "Many years of trying, Aria. Doctors, tests, medications - and nothing. I felt cornered, out of options."

"Cornered?" My voice rose, incredulous and raw with hurt. "You had choices, Dominic. Choices to be honest, to be loyal. But you chose betrayal."

He moved closer to me to try to touch me but I moved away quickly. "Don't," I yelled.

"I made a terrible mistake," he admitted, his face etched with regret. "But please, don't end us like this. Please, give me another chance,"

"Another chance? Another chance to hurt and humiliate me?" I scoffed.

"I know I've done that, and I can't take it back," he said, his voice full of anguish. "But I promise that I'll never do anything like that again. I'll do anything to make you trust me again. I know it will take time and effort, but I'm willing to put in the work. Please, give me a chance to prove myself to you."

I couldn't take his lies anymore as I felt those words were not sincere and that there was a chance that he would cheat on me again. If the b*tch hadn't sent the pregnancy test report, would he have told me?

"I want to ask you a question, Dominic. Were you planning on telling me about it or were you planning on keeping it a secret from me?"

Dominic couldn't look me in the eyes as he didn't know how to respond to the question I had asked him.

"I...I...would..." he hesitated, his eyes darting around the room, looking for an escape from my question.

I sighed deeply as I closed my eyes and allowed the tears to flow down my cheek.

"You would have never told me about it…you would have kept it a secret from me for the rest of our lives. And I would be thinking that I was married to an amazing and faithful husband not knowing that you were a cheating, lying son of a b*tch!"

He didn't say anything as he looked at me. "I can't forgive this," I said, my voice steadier than I felt. "We're done, Dominic. The engagement, us - it's all over." Turning away, I left the room.

Chapter 2 One Night

Aria POV

A Few Weeks Later

I walked into the room where Everlyn was getting ready for her wedding.

"Hey, you." I greeted as I entered. Everlyn turned to look at me and smiled.

"Aria."

"How are you feeling?" I asked, taking in her beautiful wedding gown and veil. "You look stunning, by the way."

She blushed a little, then said, "I'm excited, nervous, and a little bit sad. I can't believe it's finally here. The day I've been dreaming of since I was a little girl."

"It's going to be perfect," I assured her, putting my hand on her arm. "You'll see. All the planning and preparation will be worth it."

"I know it will," she replied, but then her face fell a bit.

"What is it?" I asked, concerned.

"Are you alright?" she asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright," I replied, holding her hand.

"Are you sure?" she held my hand tight.

"Yeah, I'm alright. We haven't been together for weeks and I think I have started to not
