His Alluring Obsession

An annoying alarm sounds rang across the room violently, almost destroying her eardrums. Angrily,Dunn stretched her left hand and hit it hard on the alarm causing a dangerous damage to it.

“ A blissful morning to get late” She mouthed getting off her bed with dark circles under her eyes.

“I shouldn't have started that drama now I'm doomed for not being able to sleep” She still grumbles when she remembered that today is the general meeting with the higher ups.

“What the..” She screamed rushing into the bathroom, a normal her should use about twenty to thirty minutes in the bathroom but that's not the case here because she woke up at 8:30am and she is to resume by 9:00am.

She almost forgot to brush her teeth which made her spend extra one minutes after done bathing. She glanced at her closet looking for a simple but classy gown to wear.

“There's no new clothes here, I really need to change my wardrobe” Dunn groaned finally settling for a corporate teal fitting gown, not too tight and not too big.

She bent over to look for a shoe to wear but no heel is available.

“D*mn!!” She exclaimed looking at how pathetic she is. She placed her legs into a black boot and carried her normal cross bag to fit it.

“I look gorgeous and expensive” She assured myself but her emotions betrayed her making her laugh at herself.

“I rock it better than that Los Angeles model though” She hissed stepping out of the house, She closed her door and tossed her keys into the bag before remembering that She didn't eat.

She shrugged it off and flagged at a cab to take her to her workplace.

“Lavender News station please” She mouthed, She's working as a secretary for the general manager at lavender news station.

“That flirty old man” She hissed out, disgustingly making the driver look at her through the mirror. The moment she noticed that she quickly composed herself and rest back to enjoy the ride.

“We are here ma'am and your money is $100” She heard the driver's voice, making her stretch herself slowly opening her eyes.

“Thank you” With that she alighted and looked at the building in front of her.

“I'm partially doomed” She ran in almost tripping over, mistakenly stepped on her shoe laces. She bent over to tie it properly.

“You're still tieing your laces,The time is 9:15am and I took permission to come call you on the phone” She heard my friend and colleague voice making her raise her head up.

“Don't worry,I lied on your behalf so just go in and tell them you had a running stomach due to indigestion which made you came late” Laura,Her friend smirked.

“When I thought she has helped me, how do I say something so awkward in front of everyone” She thought which leads to her mumbling.

“You should follow me now and walk like you had a dehydration ” Laura chuckled and walked inside the station with Dunn following behind her.

The moment she stepped her feet into the meeting hall, The faces that turned to her direction, their eyes alone made her dehydrated so no need to pretend.

“You shouldn't have any excuse to come late for a meeting like this ” Her flirty old boss,Mr Lake almost screamed,making her squeeze her face in disgust and thank God nobody saw that.

“Come and sit here” Johnny said with his normal flirty voice.

“ Personally,I hate guys who are clingy and loves talking naughty so I have a legit reason for detesting Johnny” She thought trying to hide her disgust.

“The news is that,we have to fire someone who intentionally digged deep into one of the richest model who made our news station come into limelight” Everyone raised there head up, Anticipated to know what is happening next?.

Everybody was over shocked when Dunn's name was mentioned.

Her lower lips drop down immediately as she stutters,overwhelmed with confusion.

“Dear Dunn Edwards, you are hereby fired as a secretary to the general manager of this station for digging out unfavourable article about Joan,One of our most cherished and loved model in the whole of United States” The man known to be the CEO of the station mouthed and penned down.

She and the other staffs confusion skyrocketed as they watched the higher-ups leave the meeting room.

“Why did you do that?” Nancy mouthed, putting on a sympathy look.

“Do what? I didn't know anything” She mouthed looking at Nancy with confusion all-over her facial expression.

“Everyone here knows how much you detest Joan,so I'm not surprised you could do it ” Nancy smiled evilly but quickly covered it up as she catwalks out of the meeting hall same as the rest except, Laura.

“You have to leave now before they call the security,I will come meet you at home” Laura looked at her friend pitifully.

“I will stay till 3:00 before I get going,I have to back my things too” Dunn smiled sadly, She stood up and proceeded to rest and pack her things later in the day.

“I'm very sure I will go to the club together and get myself wasted to celebrate my loss” She walked out also with tears gloomy eyes.

Joan was seen with her phone placed on her right ear. She was obviously receiving a call which made her smile.

“I got the job done ma'am” One of the girls She do send on an errand voice came in through her phone.

“I will send you the remaining payment now,I clear away people that dislikes me. I'm Joan, America treasure and hottest model” She smirked putting an end to the phone call.

She smiled satisfied at the result of her actions “I don't care if I stooped so low but I'm coming to New York soon and I need a clear path so” She mouthed, picking up the glass cup in front her and placed her lips on the edge of the cup to gulp down the content.

“What the hell is this?” She screamed spitting out the wine angrily.

“I'm sorry ma,It was chilled when I brought it but because of you being busy on the phone,it got mixed with the room temperature” One of the maids begs on her knees.

“You are a crazy b*tch,You should have forced it down my throat with your stupid explanations” She yelled throwing the glass cup at her direction and she dare not try to dodge it.

“ You are fired ” She screamed,she stood up and walked away to avoid getting more angrier just by looking at those low lifes.

Today is the 4th of July, a very sad day for Mason.

“Good afternoon Boss” He heard a male voice with his steps disturbing his ears.

“Can't you stop being a nuisance?” He yelled at the man approaching with his cold voice, sending fears into his spine immediately.

“I'm sorry boss, I came to tell you about the meeting, The board of directors and the companies to work with us have been waiting for like one hour and they are complaining” He mouthed shivering, almost peeing on himself.
