"Don't come anywhere close to me" Ava took a step backward sobbing, she thought he was going to turn his back and leave, but her hope shattered when he took another step towards her.

Chapter 1

The rain poured heavily on me, I could hear clasps of thunder as I ran down the street with my handbag on my head. I'm a small-time newspaper journalist at the central city daily newspaper, I had to run back to my workplace when I got home and find out I had forgotten to take the flash drive containing my work files for the next day, I know my boss at the Daily Newspaper, Mister Drake Olson is a very young hot-tempered and never an easygoing man, he would be so upset if he found out that I had not done the proper arrangements for the next day. after weighing the consequences and the gain I decided to risk going back to the office that night.
