Lana POV Today was our sixteenth birthday and of all the days my brother Alpha Ryker had to call an Alpha meeting on his twin sister’s birthday. To say we were p*ss*d off was an understatement. Arial and I watched from the upstairs window as Alpha’s from all over filed out of their cars before being greeted by our father and Ryker. My twin sister Arial hated the meetings just as much as me. It was one thing being twins, it was another being Lycan hybrid twins, and we always found that we copped the most stares. Once we came of age and didn’t get our wolves or shift, we knew we differed from our brother. Our mother was a direct descendant of the Moon Goddess, therefore, so are we. Our brother inherited most of our father’s traits, he shifted when he was twelve and was what we call an early bloomer, but he didn’t share my mother’s Hybrid gene. Yes, he was a direct descendant like us, but for some reason he only received certain traits while my sister and I were exactly like our mother. We had no wolves and were half vampire and half Lycan. We were both saddened when we didn't get our wolves. Ryker always spoke of how much he loved his wolf growing up. But we still had each other. Being twins means you always have another half, a best friend for life, and my sister and I were incredibly close. So close, my mother sometimes had trouble telling us apart, the only giveaway being that our scents were different slightly.

“Whose touch made you cry for more tonight?” Lucien’s voice was a low snarl as he gripped my jaw, forcing me to meet his gaze. “Yours,” I whispered, my voice unsteady. “Alpha, please—” Silas’s hands tightened on my hips as he pulled me closer, his words rough against my spine. “Liar. She trembled for me.” “Should we make her prove it?” Claude murmured, his breath hot at my throat. “Let her beg until she remembers who she belongs to.” I was shaking, caught between them, their shadows and their heat pressing in from every side. All I could do was breathe, “Yes… don’t stop.” And they didn’t. Like they never could. Like I was theirs, all three of theirs. --- Lilith used to believe in loyalty. In love. In her pack. “Why do you even care?” I fired back at him hotly, my glare burning holes into his gorgeous face. It had been all about the passion and toe curling orgasms that he had given me but now, as I stare into his eyes, all I could feel was a need to slap that face. Hard. Annoyed, I threw up my hands into the air. “We are not even in a relationship, for god's sake!” my jaw tightened. “So I can f*ck or go out with any man I d*mn please!” Immediately the words left my mouth, I knew at once that I had chosen my words badly. Damien made no overt move, but his eyes went hard and dark. He began to walk towards me and I retreated in alarm, my pulse accelerating. He continued to stalk to my side untill he successfully backed me into a wall. He stopped in front of me and placed his hands on either sides of my head, caging me in. His head came down untill he was staring into my eyes. “That's where you've got it all wrong, bunny,” he murmured, his voice a low, velvety timbre sending jolts of arousal to my loins. “You are mine, you always have been. Make no mistake about that.” **** Do I have a job that I love so much? Yes. Do I have a rude, grumpy boss that makes my blood boil and makes me plot ways to kill him and make it look like an accident? Abso-f*ck*ng-lutely! That was me untill one misaddressed email came to disrupt everything I have worked for. And then I had to do a favor for The Boss. My name is Cheryl Chastain and I am totally 𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑑.
