I am absolutely LOVING this book so far!! đŸ˜­â€ïž The tension, the heartbreak, the forbidden romance, it has me completely hooked! She’s 17, hopelessly in love with her brother’s best friend, who also happens to be her soccer team’s assistant coach. And just when you think she’s finally getting her happily ever after, they kiss on her 18th birthday! BUT THEN his ex drops the bombshell that she’s pregnant. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Fast forward and she’s finally at her dream college, UCLA, only to discover he’s coaching the men’s soccer team. After completely ghosting her, he’s gone from being the boy she loves to the man who broke her heart. And just when you think things couldn’t get messier, she gets a job at a diner and guess who her very first customer is? HIM. WITH HIS EX. 😭 The angst is EVERYTHING. I love that she’s hurt, angry and refusing to let him explain himself. I am absolutely desperate to see how this plays out because the chemistry is clearly still there, but so is all that heartbreak. I’m emotionally invested and I NEED answers!! đŸ“–â€ïž
