I struggled with this book. I didn’t like how Lola was trying to express her struggles and her mate kept pushing her off. I liked the first book better than this one. I also didn’t enjoy how when Lola was jealous both her mate and Leigh almost laughed about it and dismissed her feelings. I only finished this because of Gabe and Esme. I was rooting for a huge romantic from Manuel but was severally disappointed with him.
