Prologue
My family is the first ever Mafia Werewolf bloodline to ever exist, After being created by my great-grandfather, we have been unstoppable and now I am the leader, the king as some may say and to some, I am the devil, an unstoppable Alpha.
Family is the greatest strength in the world, no one protects you like your family and no one can be loyal to you like your family, They taught me to love; they taught me to care and they taught me to play with blood, There is no blood without family.
As a mafia king, I have my responsibility, and as an Alpha, I have some of mine, power and strength given to me by the moon goddess, My family has always been feared from the beginning of time.
Nature had to find balance so they have enemies, many to last for generations to come, They didn’t feel like anyone should have that much power and my family has been hated on since then, We have been feared for.
Our enemies hate our unity but unknown to them my family has its darkness. We are not the perfect family to ever exist, we may love and be loyal to each other but darkness fills our minds.
We have our demons, we have monsters that want to drive us away from each other but no matter what, we stand with each other or our throne could be taken from us.
I am the only male in my bloodline, after my father, it has always been me and my sister, no one has had a male for ten years, every uncle, every relative had a female and the burden of the bloodline falls on me.
Andre Diego De Santos.
I looked back at my prisoner, and I smiled.
“What did you say?” I smiled at my prisoner, my wolf flashing through my eyes as the man shivered in fear, his fear caused a smile on my face.
“You are the devil.” Nathan spoke, his eyes glimmered with fear, and I smirked. “A demon, you are meant to be in hell, your bloodline will end with you, everyone will die.” He cursed and I smiled.
He is not the first and he won’t be the last.
“Say it again,” I smirked and his eyes widened, he stared at me with shock. “This may be the last thing you ever recall, the monster killed you, the monster ruined your family and your daughter would be mated with one of my men.”
“No.” He yelled and I rolled my eyes at him, his pain made me feel good, his pain caused happiness in me as I stared at him. “You made up your mind, you will ruin her.”
“No Nathan, you ruined her already by bringing her into all of this.” I smiled and he didn’t speak.
When he turned to look at me, he spoke the words that shattered me the most.
“You will lose someone you care about, and you will never recover from it; the killer would roam free and you won’t be able to hurt him even if you want to because hurting him won’t bring her back.” Nathan yelled and that was it.
For days what he said was on my mind, My sister has always been the greatest and only one I care about, she has had me wrapped around her finger all these while, and each day I called and she was fine until one day.
I never let any words get to me but his did especially when I called and she didn’t pick up, I rushed out of the meeting to find her.
The image is still stuck in my head; the day I saw her dangling from the fan, her legs dangling against the ground and her face folded with dried tears, she took her own life.
I never saw my father cry but he did, She was the light of our home and she was excited to find her mate, to have a home, I was never going to let her go. Her mate would stay with us if he had to.
She was gone, she didn’t move when I called her name and for the first time, the city saw us with our heads down, the city saw us with tears in our eyes and the city saw us as being weak, For the first time, the family shattered.
The city thought it would be the best thing to take us away form our home, our biggest enemy thought he would attack when we are weak, but I never gave up, I took down every one, at least I tried to, my biggest enemy fled away, unfortunately he is not the one behind her death which meant someone is after my family.
It’s been a year and it still feels the same, I can still feel her scent.
My sister is never one to give in to suicide, she has worked hard toward her life, she is the better De Santos, she cared for if she, she has NGO, she helped women that got rejected by their mates, she helped kids who lost their mother, she helped kids who were depressed, she would never be one that would do that do anyone, she would never be one that would take her own life.
I may be selfish but she never is.
For years I did all I could to protect my family, and I did all I could to make sure that. No one comes close to us and I failed, I failed myself and I failed my sister, Someone took her away from me.
I will find that person and they will wish they were never born, their death would be heard across the world and their remains would never get to their family.
Someone took Amelia away from me, someone took my happiness and my peace and they will be found, I promised the city a bloodshed and that is what they will get.
Chapter 2
The wind whistled through the trees as the breeze danced its way into my office, my eyes peered up from my glasses and I stared at Clara, my assistant, who had been reading that novel for the last hour.
I watched as her eyes looked away from the book and stared at her computer screen, It felt like she had seen a ghost, As I studied her face even more, I watched as she kept moving her mouse, reading through it and her breath hitches.
“Clara, are you okay?” I breathed out, she didn’t spare me a glance, her eyes filled with darkness, maybe someone died, maybe she just lost something else. “Clara you are starting to make me worried, What is going on?”
“We…..we…we have an.” She started to speak when she gulped down a glass of water.
“Clara.” I breathed out. “I don’t have time for plays, if you need a break or need to leave you can do that,” I mumbled, my jaw ticking with anticipation.
“We have an appointment,” Clara spoke, She stood up and started to pa
