I really like the story progression. We needed the childhood backstory to make their level of attraction seem genuine. The fact that Wes transformed into his Lycan at twelve was the foreshadowing showing just how strong her felt for Haven, even at that young age. But does this mean Haven is his fated mate? They have chosen each other at this point, but how will him revealing his true self to her affect that choice? Is Haven really human or some other combination the goddess has created? We will soon know, won’t we.
