I like how the novel started with the 2 characters being pen pals. You could tell Wes was the one to help Haven heal her abandonment issues. I was surprised that she did not end up with her Foster Parents and how she was taken away. I am surprised Haven is as well adjusted as an adult with how messed up her childhood was. I wasn’t fond of how Haven reacted to Wes’s secret, there were too many clues she should have picked up on beforehand. Overall a fun read so far.
