Interesting premise but a bit too much filler instead of focus on the romance and plot. There's a big difference between Slow Burn and borderline boring. Liked the characters but it seemed the first 40 chapters could have been condensed and still been affective. Also wished there were more nuances in the early chapters into heroines life for the ten years the novel skipped it was as if as soon as the hero and her met again all that time and any trauma disappeared and it took away "her journey"
