My name is Rose Bailey. I am seventeen years old and about to start my senior year of High school. I have always lived a normal, boring human life. I never believed in the supernatural or the love at first sight sh*t that others girls my age fall for. That is until I moved with my mom and two brothers back to the small town where my mom grew up. My mom makes us stay at this house, or should I say castle, with a lot of other people living there. Imagine my surprise when I walked in on a man and two women that looked to be 20 or 21, having in a room that looked like an office. Imagine how surprised I was when I was frozen in place, unable to move, as I felt a sharp pain in my chest from seeing them together as he one from behind while she leaned over a desk from pleasure and the other woman was him. The man froze in place and looked at me with a guilty look on his face. The pain got worse in my chest, and before Iย blacked out, I swore I heard him say, Mate!

This was one of the WORST books I've read on this app. It had the potential to be good, in the very beginning, and in another (better) writer's hands, it might've lived up to it. Sadly, it went on at least 30 chapters too long, kept repeating the same stupid crisis situations, and left a ton of loose ends and vague explanations. It was all about idiotic children (and adults who often act like children) fucking around, having more children, and being stupid constantly. The fmc is a typical "popular" dancing, singing, cheerleader type (not brainy or strong by any means) who's also supposedly super beautiful and powerful and everyone wants to fuck her or kill her off (I'm in the latter group myself). She is also a 17yr old (still in high school, of course, because there's not enough other shit going on in this story) and gets mated & married to, and knocked-up by an overly-sexual Alpha-to-be. He apparently dick-matized all his former chicks because they can't seem to move on from him and get their own man, so there's a lot of slut-shaming because he "didn't wait" several years to find his own virginal mate. ๐ Typical shit in a lot of ways, but at least the censorship doesn't last past the first few chapters, so one check in the "pros" column there. I do NOT recommend this story, personally. That said, a lot of people have gifted & praised this author throughout the comments, even aside from all the typos; name mix-ups; grammar, syntax & dialog errors; and illogical & immature writing overall - so maybe read it if you want. I just have higher standards and would recommend a lot of other books over this one. ๐๐
