I stood at the corner of the room watching my stepmother and sister get ready for a wedding they were to attend that evening.

According to Molly, my half sister who she had been blabbing non-stop for the past few days, she said it was the wedding of the year. and sometimes she even wished she was the one in place of the bride.

Joker of the century.

The supreme Alpha of our kingdom was getting married and it was an event of the century. Knowing my step mom and half sister, they will definitely be in the front row.

"Millie, come here and help with my dress.." I heard Molly scream and I quickly ran into the room as I didn't want to get into any trouble that morning.

I was considered the black sheep of the family, my father was the Alpha of the Blackburn pack, and my mother the Luna of that time died when giving birth to me. 

Since then, I have been marked as having bad blood as my mother passed away because of me.

My father hated me so much because of that and never paid attention to me as the child who killed his wife turned out to be a girl.

The worst part of it all was that I hadn't possessed my wolf yet at the age of twenty, nor had I found my mate, and that made my father hate me even more.

When I was five, he brought in Navaeh as his new wife. Navaeh happened to be his mistress who already had a daughter for him while my mum was still alive, Molly.

"Ahh!! What have you done?" Molly let out a shrill cry and what I did dawned on me, I had accidentally ripped her dress.

Well, it was not my fault, the dress was too tight and she literally forced herself into it. She wanted all her curves to come out perfectly.

"I'm sorry I…"

"Mom! Look at what Millie has done, she tore my dress on purpose" Molly cried out and Navaeh who was busy adorning herself in the mirror abruptly turned.

"Oh, I know it. How could you ask this bad luck to help you with your dress? It was bound to be ruined.." she hissed as I stepped away from them.

"I'm sorry it was an accident.."

"Shut up! Was it also an accident that your mother died birthing you?" She yelled at me as I fought so hard to fight back the tears that were already threatening to fall off.

"I'm sorry Mom, I…"

"How many times have I told you not to call me mother.." she charged at me as she grabbed a fistful of my hair making me scream out in pain.

"You're so unlucky.." she hissed.

"Mom, what do we do now? It's almost time for the wedding.." Molly asked.

"Don't worry dear, they're other amazing dresses to choose from. Your father brought you a lot, especially for this occasion.." Navaeh smiled at her daughter.

"But I wanted this now it's ruined…"

"I'll take care of it, baby. You!" Navaeh snapped at me as she yanked my elbow.

"Go out and find me and needle and thread.." she ordered in a cold steel voice.

"But mother it's dark.." I uttered. It was a festive season. The whole kingdom was celebrating, and there would be no shops around, where did she expect me to find a store to get those?

Aside from that, my father was an Alpha, she could easily order a maid to do that. She just wanted to punish me as usual.

"Go get those items now and fix this dress, I don't care how you do it"

"Mom it's dark.."

"I'm sure you don't want your father to get here and see what you have done to my daughter’s dress?" She squinted her eyes at me as I froze. Everyone knew how much I feared my father.

"I'll go now.." I said as I hurriedly left.

I stared at the full moon which shone brightly from the sky. This night was definitely the best night to get married.

The kingdom of Selenia was the greatest werewolf kingdom ever, which was ruled by the supreme Alpha. The youngest and strongest werewolf that has ever ruled.

Four packs were located inside Selenia and my father happened to be the Alpha of the Midnight Moon pack.

I cursed at my bad luck, and neither did I have a mate at the age of twenty, I also didn't possess a wolf, so people never regarded me as a princess.

I was still lost in my thoughts when the bright light of a car shone on me and the car stopped in front of me in a screech.

"What the heck!" I spat, stepping backward, the driver must have lost his mind.

"Lady Ximena" I heard a man call and before I could even say anything, three armed men dressed in black suits stormed out of the car, charging at me.

"Grab her!." one of the men, who seemed to be the leader, ordered and they grabbed me holding me tight.

"W.. what are y..ou…, ha!!!, Let me go!!" I yelled, from the way they looked they meant business and I wondered what exactly they were up to.

"Don't think of escaping, lady Ximena" he addressed as my brows furrowed, what was he talking about?, This is a mistaken identity, what the hell was a lady Ximena? I kept struggling with them but they were too strong for me.

"Get her into the car…" he instructed,

"I'm not lady Xi….m..ena '' I tried saying, but they had already bundled me up, forcing me into the car against my wish, giving me no chance to speak.

Soon the car began to move, and I kept struggling, but their hold on me was just too strong that I had to stop. Did Navaeh send the men after me? Who's Lady Ximena? I questioned myself, silent tears flowing helplessly on my face.

One of the men brings out a phone from his pocket as he spoke,

"Alpha, we just found Lady Ximena".

I paced angrily around my sitting room, waiting impatiently for my men to give me a call, Ximena had gone too far this time, this very moment was crucial for me and she thought she could just back down, and run away from me, after making a deal with me, never, I'll make sure to find her, and bring her back here.

I picked up the incoming call immediately after the first ring, hoping they'd brought good news.

I've sent my men to search around for Ximena and bring her back to me at all costs, no matter what it takes Ximena must be found at all costs, even if it means tearing the whole kingdom down, they must bring her back, finding another replacement will be a problem.

"Alpha, we just found Lady Ximena." Clover had informed me over the phone and I found myself sighing in relief, she's finally been found, she thought she could hide from me forever.

"Bring her to me.." I disconnected the call, tossing my phone
