Really hoping he either has redeeming qualities or that she kills him cuz he is so unbearable as a character and love interest. She really needs to stop drooling over him and find a way to get out of there so not the type of story I expected for her to want him after he literally beats her and tries to kill her on more than one occasion. Not sure if I can make it to the end of this one

Well, the level of violence towards the heroine by Enid is totally disgusting. The poor girl went from a bad situation to a worse situation. She was severely punished over and over again even though he promised her he would not do it again. I was too far invested in the story to stop reading. There are way too many grammatical errors (much like my thoughts) and misspelled words. How did X all of a sudden appear at the elder gathering out of thin air. Some of the chapters repeated, which is frustrating.
