Mysterious Soul

The sky went dark then the sound of thunder booms made a girl jump and look up her muzzle got dropped on by the rain that had started up. The creature shook her head and another female trotted up to her and then tilted its head in asking what was wrong. The Female looked up at the sky as thunder boomed around them. It was late in the year for thunderstorms, but they have one.

Both females jumped as a howl of pain, and sorrow rose, and then deep howls of rage echoed as well. Both females bolted for a packed house close to them, they were unsure what that sound was, but it was enough to make them run for their lives. One female stopped and looked back hoping to possibly see what it was. But all she saw was the dark forest around her.

“Let's go! Whatever is out there may be dangerous!”

She looked back to her female friend nodding and trotted after her, but a part of her felt urges to go find these mysterious sounds but another part of her knew it may be dangerous. She looked back one last time and shrieked when she noticed two black wings in the sky along with glowing eyes. The person next to her yelped and bolted faster toward the house.

Slowly she stopped panting and wheezing from all the running, the female shook her fur out and looked over to her friend who was coughing and shaking. Slowly more wolves and cats came from the forest shaking and looking around in fear. She shifted to human as her purple hair flowed around her gently. Another girl who was with her shifted as well; she had light ginger hair with streaks of blue inside of it.

The other girl snickered a little bit to see her hair and the girl glared at her to make her laugh more than a loud demonic wail echo made them all jump and look towards the forest, afraid now. Whatever was out there wasn’t like being in the woods and seemed to be badly damaged, which worried them all.

“What is that sound? What is it!?”

“I don’t know but it causes all the prey to flee! I was chasing a rabbit. It let out a cry. Me and the rabbit both ran for our lives.”

“explains the rabbit at your feet”

“hush Saika!”

They all laughed though it helped them break the tension in the air. Slowly they all begin to stand up and look around though wondering if that creature they heard from the woods would come back. The rain came down harder to make everyone soaked. They all fled into the house and began to shift to humans while Saika looked back outside her eyes locked on a pair of eyes.

She had a bad feeling but something outside was in pain and wanted help. She shook and wanted to run back outside to find this creature then the girl who was leading the pack gripped her hand gently.

“Saika it's ok…I know you miss your mom…”

“what if it's her…what if it's mom…”

The girl looked out towards the rain and prayed it was her or possibly something different, but she had no idea at all. She tugged Saika inside. Who went with the girl, but the girl could tell that Saika wasn’t enjoying the fact that she had to go inside.

“Violet what if it is her…That male took her….”

“I know sweetie but who knows? We must wait. Remember we got school tomorrow”

“Hate me!? Ugh, I need to finish my homework! Since our moonlight hunt got ruined because of that storm and whatever is out there”

The creature lay on the ground wheezing and gurgling as its side was bleeding it stared at a wolf who also was bloody and looking not too good either. The creature looked to the side and noticed three more wolves standing around. It growled and hissed then whined in pain.

It looked around and growled trying to find an escape route. Then one of the wolves moved but one creature was fighting, snarling at the one who tried to move forward. The wolf looked at the creature as it tried to stand and slowly the wolves moved away.

The head one snarled and then lunged forward, the creature whined and tried to move only to fall over, and the head wolf stopped it and noticed that the creature was on the ground and looked scared. The rain started to pick up heavily and the wolves looked at one another. The creature groaned and shifted to a human girl with a lot of bruises, cuts, and chains on her wrist, and ankles.

“Please help…” she said then fainted.

Head wolf shifted to a tall male with light dark skin, and light blue hair flowed down to his back as he moved towards the wounded female and touched the female gently. “Dear god she is so badly wounded…We take her to the alpha house now!”

Other wolves nodded and circled the head alpha as he slowly picked up the girl and held her to his chest. He saw her pale skin and naked body full of wounds and bruises. She also reeked of a male who he can tell wasn’t her true mate. He looked and saw his second in command shift to his human form. “Call the other alpha around here. See if she knows anything about this girl or something” the second in command nodded and pulled out his phone.

“Violet got a phone call!”

Violet turned to push her hair back as her mate looked over to the person who was holding the phone. Her mate took the phone and handed it to her. Violet sighed and placed the phone to her ear while stirring a pot of noodles she was making.

“Yes, this is violet”

“Violet, it's Chris…. We got a human or something…. She was a half-wolf, the half-dragon then she shifted to a human girl who is badly wounded.”

“What!?” Violet dropped the spoon, and her mate grabbed it fast and then looked at her confused, but she had no words to say at all. She remembers her sister was like that, able to go half-breeds of two different creatures at once. She just remembers her sister leaves to go help someone out and then never return.

“What color are her eyes and hair!?”

“eyes I can’t tell because there closed at the moment but her hair is light brown or dark hard to tell in the light, but she has two tattoos like a wolf with a crescent moon”

“Olivia…. That my sister ....”

Saika's head snapped up from her phone and her mate looked over fast as well. The three of them were close and Violet's mate stiffened, shocked to hear this. Violet shook and cried as she realized her sister was alive and still going but hurt as well.

“We are gonna keep her here for a bit to get her healed up then we will see what happens then to see if she remembers any of you or something.”

Violet nodded and cried then jumped at the howl echo then she still turned on the phone with the beta of the second pack inside the town. “What with that howl?” she asked into the phone. Saika stood up and screamed and fell into her mate's arms. Violet ran to the window and froze to see two demonic eyes in the sky.

“You guys see this!?” she yelled into the phone then she heard screaming and howls and barks then complete silence. She shook and whimpered as her mate took the phone and hung it up for her. “I don’t know if we are only packed now in this land…”

Saika's head snapped up from her phone and her mate looked over fast as well. The three of them were close and Violet's mate stiffened, shocked to hear this. Violet shook and cried as she realized her sister was alive and still going but hurt as well.

“We are gonna keep her here for a bit to get her healed up then we will see what happens then to see if she remembers any of you or something.”

1 Month Later

“Are you sure this good idea keeps her in contact with the head alpha?”

I looked over my hair falling over my eyes as I heard a couple of girls talking next to a few lockers not far from mine. I looked away and saw them looking over their shoulders. I placed my key into my lock and placed it in a few books then snagged three of them. Place them in my messenger bag. I didn’t want to know.

“Yeah, I think it will be good. This means he is very interested in making her his mate! The full moon is in four days! Which means that the alpha male will be hunting for his true mate!”

I felt my jaw clench when I remembered that over a month ago. I was lying in a hospital bed and dealing with an alpha male who kept trying to make me a part of his pack. I breathed and rubbed my face then closed my locker and snapped my key lock onto it. Girls stopped talking when they heard me snap my lock into place.

“Hey new girl,” one said.

I walked away not in
