"She is crippled and a waste of space, James!. I would rather mate with Rose happily than be with someone like her. I am done. I AM SO DONE WITH HER!" My heart stopped, and my movements halted. It was my husband's confession to his best friend and Beta James.

"She's crippled because of you, Alpha Holden. Michael - you're not being fair." James stood up.

"I cannot serve a fallen Alpha. Excuse me." Angered and betrayed, the Beta walked out. What about me who was the direct victim of the betrayal from my husband?

Beta James stopped in his tracks at my silhouette leaned against the wall.

"Not a word." I warned before he opened his mouth.

"Well, you won't hear from me ever again anyway. Goodbye." I nodded curtly. I swallowed my pride and crumpled the test results in my hand. I was pregnant, yet again.

"Honey, is that you?" Michael voiced, having smelled my presence around him. Quickly wiping the tears off my face, I limped inside, weight on my cane.

"I'm home~" I sang, continuing to pretend to be his perfect wife.

"I've prepared a luxurious meal for you. And how would you like your little gift?" He opened a blue velvet box. Shiny tanzanite crystals adorned in a necklace sat in the box, screaming luxury and love. But I didn't feel it anymore.

"How did the test go?" He leaned on my shoulder, hugging from behind.

"I'm...not pregnant." I lied.

"Oh." Was his only reaction before turning on his heel.

"W-Where are you going? Im in a lot of pain. Stay with me?" I pleaded.

"I've got work. Eat and rest up." Said he and left. I knew where he was going. That was cue to break down, falling on my knees.

Around midnight, when Michael thought I was asleep, he dialled a number and spoke relentlessly on the phone.

"But she's a crippled! I can't stay with her! So what if she gave her kidney to her own step sister!? I didn't manipulate Olive to give her kidney to the love of my life!" My eyes widened.

The love of my life he mentioned wasn't me, but another woman. Bitter, warm tears silently poured out of my eyes.

"I cannot allow that. She doesn't deserve to be the next Luna of Silverfang. No one would want a crippled Luna in my pack." He said.

Michael and I have been together for four years. He discovered I was his mate when he broke up with my step sister - they discovered weren't fated on Rose's 18th birthday. Unfortunately, we shared the same birthday and I was discovered as Young Alpha Michael Holden's fated. A lowly omega.

Two years ago, Rose had to undergo surgery where she was given 2 months at max to live without a donor. That day, Michael manipulated me to give my kidney despite knowing the consequences. My immunity killed all feelings in my legs. He crippled me. But he married me as a gesture of honor.

His parents were cruel to me. They made me work day and night despite being in pain. They forced me to carry Michael's child three times even if my uterus couldn't handle it. Each time was a miscarriage. This one might be too.

Being the legitimate heir to Luna of Silverfang, I was never given the status even after 2 years of marriage. The reason was now revealed. What was I even waiting for?

The call ended. Michael left his phone on the nightstand to go to the bathroom. I opened the phone. He was on a call with Beta James - the only one who truly supported me.

Opening the messages, I discovered Michael and Rose never broke up. They continued their relationship despite the drama 4 years ago.

"Oh my god..." I cried, blurry vision hoarding the horrible lines of sexting between them dating back years. The recent one being yesterday, when I was in the hospital.

To make things worse, he sent her a picture of me in my pathetic state, draped in a gown at the healers.

- Michael: How can someone be so ugly ewww -

He texted to her with laughing emojis.

- Rose: She looks like a crippled bloated cow! When are you ending things with herrrr??? -

My eyebrows crushed.

- Michael: Soon baby. When I'll be done with her, I won't have to sneak off everyday. You will be my perfect Luna~ -

- Rose: Aww! I can't wait to abort my annoying fetus too! -

Rose was pregnant as well. With none other than my previous fated mate : Karl Clawson.

Speaking of which,

The sound of my phone blaring through made me flinch. It was Karl himself. It's been years since we spoke.

"Hello...?" I held back tears.

"Olive...I'm sorry. Your parents are no more. You need to come home, right now."

No one to protect me?

Even if my parents sold me off to Silverfang, they were my only pillars who kept me from relentless torture.

The next morning, as early as possible, I was brought to my home, one which i left 2 years ago.

"Mother..." I fell to my knees and cried.

On the other hand, Micheal ran past me, accidentally kicking my hand off harshly. I watched in tears as he let Rose dash into his arms.

"Shush...I'm sorry. I know it was a tough decision." I heard him console her. Tough decision? For what?

"I miss them so much! I loved them and they- they still went to that cliff. Ugh!" Rose cried in his arms, clawing his back and showing how distressed she was.

My sadness flew out of the window somehow. What did she mean by that?

In the corner of my eye, I caught glimpse of Karl Clawson. His eyes puffy and red. Yet he stayed away from Rose's dramatic crying.

I wondered.

"Karl," I approached the man. He shook his head, wanting
