Chapter 1 Night of Blood
The night sky wrapped around the Evan family mansion, dotted with serene stars, with no sign of the impending disaster lurking in the darkness.
Inside the mansion, Annabelle’s birthday party was in full swing, filled with the typical grandeur and joy.
The grand hall was adorned with glittering decorations, and the sound of clinking champagne glasses added to the celebration’s liveliness.
Lily Evan, the eldest daughter of the Evan family, smiled softly as she watched her younger sister Annabelle running around in her new pink dress, laughing with her friends.
Lily wore a long, flowing black gown that accentuated her captivating beauty. But behind her smile, a sense of unease lingered in her heart, as if something ominous was looming.
“Lily, darling, you look beautiful tonight,” her mother, Madam Evan, said as she approached and embraced Lily.
“Thank you, Mother,” Lily replied, returning the embrace warmly. “Annabelle seems so happy tonight, doesn’t she?”
“Yes, she’s very happy. I’m glad to see you both so content,” her mother replied with a warm smile. “This party is truly splendid. I hope tonight brings us all good fortune.”
Lily nodded, though the unease didn’t fade. But she tried to brush it off, not wanting to ruin this special night.
Suddenly, the sound of sirens pierced the air, cutting through the merriment of the party as if time itself had stopped.
The music halted, and every guest turned, fear creeping into their hearts. In an instant, gunshots rang out, shattering the night’s peace.
The large windows in the party hall burst into pieces, raining shards of glass like hail. The guests screamed in terror, panic spreading like wildfire.
“What’s happening?” Annabelle screamed as she ran toward Lily, her eyes wide with fear.
“Annabelle, hide under that table!” Lily yelled, her voice trembling with panic. She grabbed her sister and pushed her to safety. “Don’t move until I say it’s safe.”
Lily dashed to find her father, Mr. Evan, who was already armed with a gun, standing near the main entrance, his face tense.
“Lily, get to safety! They’re coming!” her father ordered with a voice full of urgency.
“Who’s coming, Father?” Lily asked, but her question was cut off by the sound of horrifying screams.
Within seconds, the mansion’s main door was forcefully broken down, destroyed by a powerful force.
The guests who tried to flee met their deaths as savage creatures attacked them with sharp teeth and claws.
They weren’t human—they were werewolves, members of the legendary Moonshadow pack, known for their cruelty and brutality.
“Father!” Lily screamed as she saw her father facing off against a large werewolf that attacked him savagely.
Mr. Evan fired his gun, but the creature was too strong. The weapon couldn’t penetrate the werewolf’s thick skin.
In an instant, the beast’s massive claws slashed across her father’s body, dropping him to the ground with blood pouring from his torn neck.
Lily ran toward her fallen father, but a cold hand yanked her back. It was her mother.
“Lily, run! You have to survive!” her mother whispered desperately, tears welling in her eyes.
“But, Father…” Lily’s voice choked with sobs.
“There’s no time, darling. Run, now!” her mother screamed, pushing her hard. But before Lily could move, another werewolf attacked her mother from behind, tearing her apart with brutal force.
Lily froze, terrified and unable to move as her mother’s blood spilled onto the floor.
Panic began to consume her, but Lily knew she had to escape. She sprinted across the grand hall, now littered with corpses and pools of blood.
Screams and sounds of battle echoed around her, but Lily focused on one thing—escaping and surviving.
But her escape was halted when she saw a figure unlike any other. A tall man, radiating an aura of power with every step he took.
His cold blackneyes locked onto Lily’s, a gaze different from those of the other werewolves—not one of hunger or hatred, but of desire and a need to dominate.
Lily knew at that moment her life was in danger. She tried to flee, but the man moved with impossible speed. In a single stride, he was in front of her, grabbing her wrist with a vice-like grip.
Lily struggled, hitting and scratching with all her strength, but he didn’t budge. His cold hand gripped her throat, cutting off her breath.
“You’re too valuable to kill,” the man, Alpha Xander, whispered hoarsely, his face drawing closer. “I won’t kill you. Not yet.”
Lily tried to scream, but her voice was cut off as Xander’s grip tightened, choking off her air. Her vision began to blur, the world around her fading into darkness.
Before she completely lost consciousness, she felt herself being lifted and carried away. Something cold and sharp pricked her skin—Xander’s claws.
As the world turned pitch black, Lily knew her life had changed forever.
Lily awoke with a throbbing headache, her body aching in every inch. The cold air bit into her exposed skin, and as she opened her eyes, Lily found herself in an unfamiliar place—a dark, cold room with damp stone walls. Her hands and feet were shackled to iron chains anchored to the wall, rendering her helpless and unable to move.
“Where am I?” Lily thought, trying to remember what had happened. All the memories came crashing down like a flood—the party, the attack, her family’s slaughter, and… Xander.
Lily shivered, not just from the cold, but from the fear creeping into her soul. There was no way out of this prison, no one to help her. She was utterly alone.
As she heard footsteps approaching, Lily knew Alpha Xander had come for her. The heavy iron door creaked open, and Xander entered with a cold smile playing on his lips.
“Welcome to your hell, Lily Evan,” he said softly, yet his voice was laced with authority.
“Why didn’t you kill me?” Lily forced the words out, though her voice trembled with fear. “Why did you kill my family but not me?”
Xander stepped closer, leaning down so his face was level with Lily’s. “Because you’re mine,” he whispered with a sinister desire, his hand gently caressing Lily’s cheek, a deceptive tenderness. “You will live, Lily. Live to serve me, to witness your power stripped away, and your life under my complete control.”
Lily struggled, trying to fight back, but Xander’s grip only tightened. “You will never be free, Lily. You will be entirely mine, and I will ensure that no one can ever take you from me.”
As Xander left the room, leaving Lily alone in the darkness, one thing became clear to her. Her old life was gone, and all that remained was the darkness waiting to consume her.
Chapter 2 The Destruction of Identity
The cold morning air bit into Lily’s skin as she was dragged from her cell, her shackles clinking loudly against the stone floor.
Every step she took was a painful reminder of her captivity. Her once-elegant black gown was now torn and filthy, a far cry from the luxurious fabric that once draped over her.
Her hair, which had been meticulously styled, hung limply around her face. The remnants of her previous life were fading fast, leaving only the broken shell of the woman she once was.
As the iron doors swung open, Lily was pulled out into the harsh sunlight. She squinted, her eyes adjusting to the brightness after being confined in darkness for so long.
The open space before her was a large courtyard surrounded by towering stone walls.
The Moonshadow pack members were gathered there, waiting.
Alpha Xander stood in the center of the courtyard, his imposing figure casting a long shadow acr
