I absolutely adored Everly, loved how strong willed she was and how she fought for everything she had. I loved all the moments she spent with Zoe and was excited to read more. I will admit that I didn't like her father much at all, but I was glad to see her finally escape the clutches of him. I lover the moment Valen fell for her and how protective he was of her, even though I think she can hold her own. I will definitely read this again, but for now I have to go read the second book.
