An icy chill descended over Ann as if a bucket of ice water had been thrown over her and she stood and stared, her eyes wide and mouth slightly open in disbelief. Ada lifted her hand and waved in Ada's direction with a smug smile plastered on her face as Brad collapsed on top of her, kissing her neck tenderly. So far the story is developing well. I’m enjoying the character build up of Adam. I am wondering why Ann went along with the whole “ hey we should get married even though we don’t know each other” thing. I understand she was drunk when initially agreeing but she is a grown woman. She obviously didn’t need him to get out of her house because she made her own money. I guess I would have just like a little more push for her having to choose to marry. Oh and I’m just trying to figure out narcissa’s end game?
