Mission 1: Don't be his girl

PROLOGUE

“You're stunning and fiery. That is exactly what I am looking for.” Agent Isleen could feel his hot breath brushing across her face as he said those words. She glared him down, daring him to say anything else.

But that didn't stop him from taunting her. Instead, he caressed her hair tenderly, his touch shooting lightning through her entire existence. These were once the hands that held Agent Isleen tightly, but she no longer felt the spark that she once had whenever she was with him.

Things have changed now. She doesn't want to be associated with him again.

Never, ever.

After everything she'd been through, she vowed not to see his face again. All countless sleepless hours spent weeping about how pitiful she was for falling for him. It was difficult for her to move on at the time since he was a billionaire who was always appearing on television shows, magazines, and practically anyplace. She had to look at him all of the time.

However, as time went on, she got stronger. She is certain that she will not repeat the same mistakes. And she's only doing it because her superiors assigned her to it. She might have declined, but Agent Isleen never said no.

“You know, I can buy you.” He interrupted her thoughts once again.

What he said almost made Agent Isleen gag. He has not changed at all. Arrogant and self-assured. He's the same.

She gave him a sidelong glance. “This is a problem with affluent guys; do you believe money can buy you anything?”

“Yes,” he said, raising his brow. What is it that isn't?”

“I'm not sure,” she shrugged. Perhaps it's love? “Happiness?”

“That's nonsense,” he mocked.

She stood up and took her bag with her. "That's right. Don't ever tell me you can buy me because I will murder you the next time. No, I'm not joking.”

He only smirked. “Can you tell me about your mission?” You're not going to go like that, are you? I have a few more proposals to make. You're even welcome to live with me. I can arrange for you to be her helper or bed warmer.” He provided the offer.

Is his bed warmer? Horrible. “No way. She has her own set of rules.” She said something in response.

"Are you sure? I knew you were looking for something from me. It might be data...my body...or my heart...” He got off to a stuttering start.

“Figure it out yourself, rich man,” she said as she shook her head.

She removed his trousers and placed a rag over his lips while tying his body to the hotel chair. She smirked and replied, "See you later." She heard him scream a curse behind me, but she simply smiled at him and fled via his window, leaving his door closed.

Aiden Keane, you've just begun. She’d already buried her memories, as well as her old self, with you. It's now or never. Agent Isleen pondered her thoughts.

But first, she’d want to explain what happened before things got this bad.

----MISSION 1: DON'T BE HIS GIRL

FIVE YEARS AGO

“Entschuldigen Sie, was haben Sie gesagt?” (Excuse me, but what did you say?)

Aiden raised an eyebrow at her and enquired when his phone call finished.

He nodded as she repeated what she had just said to him, and he began to order. For a time, she suppressed her hunger and took careful notes on what he was saying.

She leaned in to get the menu in front of him, but there was a spark when their hands brushed against each other.

Aiden seemed to sense it as well, hissing a bit, breathing heavily, and looking at her. She promptly exited the room and went to the kitchen to inform him of his request.

“Für Tabelle zwei.” (For table two) She murmured, her heart relaxing. She took a big breath and exhaled. This isn't good for her at all. She's well aware of it. But something draws her in, and she longs to see him again.

When the dinner was done, she placed it on his table, and he smiled and thanked her. She nodded and was about to return to the kitchen when she heard an adjacent table's dishes shattering.

“Wo ist Ihr Vorgesetzter? Ich rede mit ihm!” (Where’s your manager? I’ll talk to him!)  A consumer yelled vehemently. Agent Isleen approached them and offered her assistance because the waiter servicing the table was trembling. She kindly inquired, “Unser Manager ist im Moment beschäftigt. Was kann ich für Sie tun, Ma'am?” (Our manager is currently unavailable. What can I do for you, ma'am?)

She directed the waitress to summon their boss, leaving her alone with the irate customer. She'd worked here for a week and had dealt with folks like this before.

The customer was a lady in her thirties who had jewelry all over her body, as well as an expensive branded purse, shoes, and clothing. Of course, the individuals who come to the restaurant where she works are either millionaires, children of billionaires, or mistresses of billionaires.

She thinks this woman is a billionaire's mistress, judging by her flawless makeup.

The woman then shook her head. “Nein, ich verlange Ihren Vorgesetzten zu sehen. Was ist das für ein Fünf-Sterne-Restaurant?”

(No, I insist on meeting with your boss. Is this a five-star establishment?)

She pointed to her plate and said, They were nearly half-full. “Auf meiner Suppe ist ein Haar!” (My soup has a hair in it!)

Agent Isleen gave a curious nod. The restaurant was well-known and well-regarded for its cleanliness... This individual is attempting to tarnish their name.

“Ich entschuldige mich, Ma'am, wir geben Ihnen noch eine Suppe. Bitte noch fünf Minuten warten.” (Please accept my apologies, ma'am; we will provide you with another soup. Please wait another five minutes.) Everyone was now watching the uproar. Isleen must resolve this issue or risk losing her job. That is something she must avoid. This has been her sole key to completing her objective and obtaining answers.

“Nein, ich bin ein vielbeschäftigter Mensch. Ich werde jetzt gehen.” (No, I’m a busy person. I’ll leave now.) She stated that she had not even paid for her lunch.

Just then, Isleen noticed Aiden rising and going towards them. “Was geht hier vor sich?” (Can you tell me what's happening?) Standing next to her, he inquired. He had a powerful perfume aroma that oozed masculinity.

She bowed to him, recalling her job as a waiter here. “Es tut mir leid für die Bequemlichkeit, Sir. Bitte kehren Sie zu Ihrem Plaz zurück, wir kümmern uns darum.  (I apologize for the inconvenience, sir. Please return to your seat; we'll take care of this.)

He gave the woman a knowing look as he peered at her, and she gasped.

Mission 2: Don't play his game

“Ich sah deutlich, wie diese Frau ihre Haare auf die Suppe legte. Worüber beschweren Sie sich? Oder haben Sie kein Geld, um Ihr Essen zu bezahlen?”

(I distinctly witnessed this lady putting her hair in the soup. What exactly are you displeased with? Or you don't have enough money to eat?) He enquired of her. Isleen gave him a serious look. Is he assisting me in any way? She pondered this.

The woman gave them a stern look before handing me her credit card and paying for her meal. Aiden then sat back down, putting a stop to the uproar. She then walked to the counter and charged the woman with her credit card.

“Danke dafür, Andrea.” (Thank you so much, Andrea.) According to her coworker. The waitress who had served the irate woman before had been terrified. Andrea. It was a moniker under which she had disguised herself. A name that doesn't suit her.

She gave her a kind grin, “überhaupt kein Problem.”  (No problem at all.)

She then handed back the credit ca
