*At the Nightwalker lykae clan*She ran and ran as fast as her legs could carry her in the dark eerie forest. Something was chasing her, something huge was chasing her. She could not see what it was but she could feel it behind her. She could hear its deep scary and ferocious growls reverberating through her bones and shaking the forest.She felt it, she was really sure that she was being hunted down by an animal, a beast. She continued to run, breathing so heavily as she stepped on dry leaves and twigs. She could feel the chilly breeze biting against her skin and she shivered. Her teeth clattered together and her hair swayed across her face as she ran.Thanks to the bright moonlight, she could see through the forest but unfortunately, she did not see the extended branch of a tree in front of her when she turned around to see if she was still being chased as she could no longer hear a sound, only the sound of her loud breathing and her step.She bumped so hard into the branch and tripped over and she fell with a loud thud on the ground. She tried so hard not to scream due to the pains she was going through as she used both her hands to cover her mouth in a tight grip holding back her groans and scream so whatever was chasing her would not know where she was. Ten minutes passed and she continued to lay on the thorn filled grasses bearing the throbbing and sharp pain on her head and her sprained ankle but she did not hear a single sound aside from her own rapid breathing.Probably what was chasing her had gone another way, she thought as she sat up and looked around her one more time and when she was sure that she was indeed safe she stood up and dusted her dress.As she started limping trying to find her way out of the dark and scary forest despite the pain, she heard a low growl behind her back and she turned around to look but she did not see anything, only the thick darkness.She was sure she heard something now but just as she turned back around to continue limping her way out of the forest, all the air in her lungs left her as she fell so hard on her back that she thought she was going to break her spinal cord.Starting at the sight in her front with wide eyes and mouth parted trembling in fear, she began to scream, totally forgetting about her aching back. It was a huge gray werewolf and its size was five times bigger than any wolf in her clan. Its silvery black eyes stared down at her like a predator staring down at its meal.The werewolf bared its sharp canines that were akin to that of a razor blade at her as it began to walk closer to her letting out a low growl and she moved back trembling I fear at the sight.Suddenly the werewolf raised its head up to the moon and let out a loud howl that shook the whole forest and she thought it was the best time for her to run and escape.Again, she thought of transforming into her werewolf form and stand up against the terrifying monstrous werewolf in her front but once again, the size of the werewolf made her rethink her decision.Just as she was lost in her thoughts, she saw the werewolf look back at her but this time its silvery black eyes were pitch black and she watched as it opened its huge mouth and lowered its head to bite her and she closed her eyes waiting for the pain.A few minutes passed and she felt no pain, she felt no bite not any stinging pain and when she opened her eyes she could not find the werewolf that was right in her front anymore but a tall man about six feets with torn shirts and pants staring back at her. She could see his face clearly but his clear silvery black eyes shone brightly in the dark forest and before she could open her mouth to say anything, she heard him say something that left her confused."Mine""Valerie" "Valerie" " Valerie" she heard someone call her. She fluttered her eyes open to see her mother gently tapping her awake."Hey Mom.." she said, rubbing her eyes and yawning noisily. "Hey baby, how are you feeling, any problem?? You look like a mess.." her mom asked her while touching her forehead."Nothing mom, it's just… I don't know, it is that same dream that I have always been having, "Valerie said. "I don't know why I keep having that sad dream on and on.." she continued."Oh my poor baby, it is just a dream okay?? Just do not think about it so much…" her mom told her while stroking her hair."Well sweetie, you gotta get ready for your sister's wedding, your dad and others are waiting for you, Valerie's mom told her as she swung open the curtains of Valerie's room. "!!!!" Mom, must you do that? " Valerie shrieked as she got out of the bed."Valerie, go take your bath immediately, I would send the maids that would dress you up and also do your makeup.." her mom told her as she headed out of the room.Valerie got up and went into the bathroom, she undressed and went under the shower. "Mhhm, this is so peaceful and relaxing.." she said. Standing under the shower, her mind drifted back to the dream she had. "Heavens! Why do I keep having such dreams over and over again.." she thought. " Well, as mom said, it is just a dream.." Valerie said as she shrugged off the thought and stepped out of the shower. She dried her body and wore a towel over her body and on her perfect, smooth, shiny, silky hair to dry it.

As she stepped out of the bathroom into her room, she saw the maids with her clothes and wow! She exclaimed, the cloth was damn gorgeous." My princess" she heard one of the maids call her, " please sir let us do your makeup and dress your hair.." "No problem, I would.." Valerie replied as she sat down so that they could begin their work on her.Thirty minutes later, she was done with her makeup, hair and was already in her beautifully breathtaking dress. The maids could not help but admire her beauty. "Ok, I am ready.." she said, taking a deep breath she stepped out of her room. As she reached the banquet hall, all eyes were on her and people could not help but to gawk at her sight. Valerie felt uncomfortable as all eyes were on her as she entered the banquet hall. She smiled and waved awkwardly at her admirers until she reached her parents. "Hi Mom, dad.." Valerie greeted.``hi sweetie.."
