Chapter 1: LET'S GET MARRIED

She pointed the gun to her face, expecting Elise to beg for mercy. Death was a far cry from where Elise stood.

She had died already, a thousand times before. "I will pull the trigger right now!" Seles threatened, with her hands fidgeting over the trigger. How do you kill someone who was already dead? ***

"It has been eleven long years since we put her away. Come on, Jolin, Elise is dead. She can't harm us here.

Do not forget that Elise is just some naive girl, stupid and too innocent to do anything like coming after us." Hansel assured her.

They both stood in their wedding attires, Jolin, in her beautiful white wedding gown, and Hansel in his shiny black suit which was hand made by one of the top designers in France.

Currently, they were back in the United States, trying to get married.

"I worry alot, Hansel. And you know that. Elise might have been a naive young girl but she was never the stupid type! Her Father was the problem. She was innocent in all of these. I told you about the nightmares I have been having." Jolin explained to him.

Jolin was pretty. With brown tresses which fell in a curly mass, she looked like a princess.

Hansel was madly in love with her. But wasn't that the same thing he had said to Elise all those years ago?

Jolin thought it would be crazy to marry Hansel after the way he had treated Elise, and that was one reason she was afraid.

"Jolin. Listen to me, okay? Elise is now a shadow of herself. That girl meant nothing to me! I mean that's the only reason I was able to do what I did. I had eyes for only you from day one and you know this. Mr. Dust had whatever he saw coming to him. " Hansel told her.

Over the years, he had tried to convince himself that murdering Elise's father and framing her for it was something that was justifiable and right.

Ditching his own fiancee for her best friend and keeping her father's money was not something that was worth whining over.

"Are you sure?" Jolin asked him.

Earlier that day when the dress designer had been styling her wedding gown, Jolin suddenly began to feel nervous.

Everything felt small around her. The room had seemed to be closing in on her, and even the dress which had enough allowance seemed to be too tight and choking.

She panicked and started clawing at the dress to rip it apart.

Hansel had been watching her through the security cam in his dressing room upstairs. Jolin had no idea, but even Hansel had little trust for her.

He doubted her sincerity about wanting to marry him. He had thought that after all those years, karma would decide to play an old trick on him.

The yellow Buick had parked outside and the decorators packed in fresh flowers from the farm across town into his royal garden.

The Royal garden which had once been Elise's favorite place to nest.

At the sheer horror on Jolin's face when he watched her clawing at the dress, he rushed down stairs and into her dressing room.

"No! It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!" The dress designer cried out "Does she look okay to you?? Tell me!" Hansel had yelled at the woman impatiently.

"Darn you and your stupid superstitious beliefs. I need a moment with my wife to be." He said, and without waiting for further conversation, he pulled Jolin out of the room and into the hallway.

Jolin hungrily opened her lungs to the vast window in the hallway, which threw in as much air as possible into her nose.

She sank deeply into the fragrance of fresh flowers which were being moved a couple of feets underneath the window into the garden.

Hansel held her hand in his as he spoke, making the solemn promise that he loved her dearly and was not going to let her go anywhere.

"I love you, Jolin. I am crazy about you, always have been. This is just a phase of fear because you are taking the biggest step of your life in achieving your dreams." He said to her placidly.

This was exactly the same way he had held her hands many years ago when he convinced her to steal the passwords from Mr. Dust's office and betray him.

She had been Mr. Dust's personal Assistant and a pretend best friend of Elise.

They had both planned for Mr. Dust's death and when he had finally died, they framed Elise for it and took over her family's fortune, which in the end did not amount to much after debts were paid off.

Her dazzling blue eyes stared into his. Her confusion screaming loudly in her head. She knew what was wrong and what was right. But none of those mattered to her when it came to the man in front of her.

All those days spent watching Elise fool herself into thinking he was in love with her. The only thing Hansel had done to hurt her was insisting on sleeping with Elise, but poor Elise was too modest for all that.

She had to give it to her. She did know how to trap a man until marriage, by maintaining the essence between her legs.

Jolin hated her, she hated every bit of her and that was the very reason she did not mind taking everything from her.

"Do you trust me?" Hansel asked her, cutting into her thoughts.

Jolin stared into his eyes, and nodded. "I trust you, Hansel. I trust you more than I trust myself." She replied.

"Good. Do you want to marry me?" He asked her and she smiled at him.

"Of course I do. Nothing would make me more happy." She replied. He leaned in and kissed her. "Good. Then let's get married. Finish dressing up." He said to her, and watched her leave.

As soon as she left, his phone beeped out. He kept his eyes on her until she walked into her dressing room.

Hansel pulled out his phone and turned it on. The contents of the message were visible from the notification box, and it had just four words in it. "She is getting out."

Chapter 2: ELISE IS OUT

Elise Dust stood outside the Florida Center for Reformation and Rehabilitation building. The cold wind hitting against her brown, pale skin, which was laced with white cracks from lack of being oiled and taken care of.

The faint white of the sun cast a light glow on her. It was her first sunlight in eleven years.

Tears slipped from her eyes as she felt dust particles get into them. When she had first stepped outside, she had been tempted to run back into the shadows she had become accustomed to.

It was real, she was finally free.

The court had pardoned her because there was no direct evidence pointing her to the murder, yet, her enemies had tweaked all the right buttons to get her locked up.

The world she had once lived in now felt like a really huge place.

Like the mouth of a huge monster waiting to swallow her whole. Still, that fear did not compete with the dark tugging at the bells of her heart.
