Chapter 1

{Sofia POV,}

As soon as I stepped into the classroom, whispers trailed behind me.

"Ah, that's the new girl, right?"

"Yeah, she looks too ordinary, doesn't she?"

"I thought some celebrity's daughter was coming, but here we've got a four-eyed nerd."

Students from the next class were tiptoeing to get a look at me, only to be disappointed when they realized the rumours about a celebrity daughter coming were made up.

They started accusing each other with whispers, making me feel more uncomfortable. I felt the eyes on me, the whispers stabbing at my confidence. I pretended that I hadn't heard anything, putting my face down and taking a deep breath.

Just don't look... calm down, just don't look at them and everything will be fine. After all, I finally got the chance to study at this prestigious school after so much had happened in my previous school.

I had heard a lot about this school, and it seemed the same as I had heard, as I could see those royal badges on everyone's blazer displaying their rank on their name tag. So it was true that this school was full of future heirs of big companies.

Would I be able to survive? These nonsensical yet sensible thoughts jammed my mind.

There was nothing new about these rich kids and the nonsense they spouting makes my ear bleed, bringing me to reality. Here, everyone judged you by your appearance, how you spoke, and the way you dressed.
I hated this to the core and wished to kick one of their heads but that's not like you.... a blurred voice said to me. I hate it...and right now I want to run back home...I thought in my mind.
Hide.... remember the best thing you do....hide...I rubbed my ear as I looked behind - no, how can she be there is no way she is out...Sofia mumbled to herself.
One of the girls stood, adjusted her hair and said I just don't like this atmosphere. Why are they collecting all the garbage at this school she said in one breath, making my eyes wide.
''Tracy is right ''
The girls started gossiping about me, remarking on how I hadn't said a word to them since I entered.
"So, what if she's a scholar, at least she could greet us," one girl said.
I looked around, unsure where to sit. If I sat in the front, I would probably hear more snide comments. So, I headed to the last row and took the last bench, near the window.

"She's kind of weird."

"Look, she fell asleep."

"Maybe she forgot she's in school, not at home."

"Haven't you noticed? She's wearing her previous school's uniform with a public school tag."

"She's from a public school?"

"How did she end up here?"

"Maybe doing that kind of stuff," one of the boys said, giving me a dirty look.

I pretended to be asleep, but deep inside, I wasn’t weak enough to let this crap affect me. Compared to the disgust I faced in my previous school, this wasn't much.

"Hey, Sam, what if she hears you?" one of the girls said to the boy.

"What if she does? If she's not wrong, she'll probably avoid it, but if she is, she'll come for a fight." Laughter erupted from the group of classmates.

I clenched my fists, ready to run away, but as I was about to stand, a girl appeared in front of me, stopping me in my tracks. Her beautiful smile made me wonder if she was approaching to tease me more or if I had mistakenly sat at her desk.

We kept looking into each other’s eyes, and I had no idea what was going on.

"She doesn’t seem like she'd sit with those bunch of maniacs," I thought.

"Hey, I'm Lyn, and you are the new transfer, right?"

"The... Sofia..."

"Nice to meet you, Sofia," Lyn said with a smile.
"Which school did you transfer from?" she asked.
My face turned pale like someone had thrown a mug of salt on a fresh wound. I hesitated, not because I was ashamed, but because the flashback of memories kept my mouth shut until Lyn broke the silence.

"Don't hesitate, I won't bite," Lyn said, smiling.

"Um, I... I forgot what to say," I replied.

"It's okay, you can tell me later," Lyn said.

"Okay," I replied with a forced smile.

"Are you comfortable sitting in this seat?" Lyn asked, looking worried.

"I hate his guts," Lyn muttered, leaving me confused.

"Who are you talking about?"

"Well, I just want to give you advice. No matter what the person beside you does, don't ever raise your voice. If he tells you to leave, then please leave the seat," Lyn said, shaking with fear.

"Bully... but no one dares to call him that," she continued.

''bully''....I held my skirt tightly as a pain in my head approached with a mysterious laugh and a memory of blurred faces holding her neck and blood coming from her nose... blood.
"Blood..." I whispered, my face going pale.
"Is she on her period? Someone needs a napkin," Sam laughed while the other girls looked at me with disgust.

"Are you okay?" Lyn asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, I... don't..." I stammered.

Lyn, trying to divert my attention, immediately started telling me about each classmate, but my eyes fell on a single chair. If there were desks in the class, then why a single chair?

"Why isn't this bench occupied yet?" I asked, feeling something was wrong.

"I don't know much, but there's a scholarship student like you. On the day I transferred here, I heard he had a one-month suspension," Lyn said.

"Maybe he'll be here today, as his suspension period is almost over. Just forget about that guy," Lyn continued.

Before I could ask another question, a noise interrupted our conversation. There were lots of noises coming from outside the school building, and everyone was looking out of the window.

"What are they looking at?" I asked, intrigued.

"Well, why don't you see yourself... Look, aren't they just normal guys, like others?" Lyn asked.

I nodded my head and looked at Lyn, who again opened her mouth and said, "I don't know why there's so much fuss over them but I quite like... how honest you are," said Lyn with a beautiful smile.
''why is she so comfortable with me''... I thought and it doesn't seem to me how someone utters this much particular to a stranger like me and still, I appreciate her approach.

Chapter 2

Third POV,

"Who are they?" Sofia asked while gazing at the boy group surrounded by a crowd.

"Well, they're known as S group aka Striker Group," Lyn replied.

Bully...," Sofia muttered under her breath.

"walls have ears," Lyn said.

"Are they dangerous?" Sofia asked.

"Well, they're popular for bullying yet no one has a single evidence because at our school they are known for their super intelligence, and one of them is Richard Davison's son," Lyn explained.

"Wait, Richard Davison? "Sofia exclaimed and the only thing that excite her is singers and their voices are the only ones that make her more courageous.

"Yeah, the famous singer," Lyn confirmed with her excited eyes.

"You can't believe it right... it's like a second-rate movie plot right," Lyn said.....as it seems she didn't like either of them.

" But believe me, No one is better here even those scripted spoiled rich kids and
