Amelia’s only goal the last five years was ‘Survival’. She didn’t know why every rogue she encountered wanted a normal human like her dead. She didn’t know why her mother had to sacrifice herself to protect her. All she knew was that she needed to survive. She needed to make it to the Silver Lake pack. Only then would she get the answers that she needed to make sense of the tragic life she lived.

Liking it so far! Slow romantically which is nice. Good story has me wondering where it’s going. Can’t put it down! The characters are good and so is the writing. Feels like a genuine book instead of an internet read. The ads drew me in but this book has been really good. Mysterious so we’ll see but so far it hasn’t been annoying with unrealistic fights. I’m looking forward to the rest of the book! FINISHED: wow what an amazing book. I didn’t want to put it down or wait for chapters. It was beautifully written and the few romantic scenes were not cringy, they were written with more class. The characters stuck true which usually with these stories the heroine becomes so weak once meeting her mate it’s annoying. But the main character stayed being a boss and handling her own. I loved the plot and it didn’t feel overdone just coming up with the next thing. It stuck to the overarching plot and was well written. The cliff hanger I’m not a big fan of as I don’t know when the next book will come out but if you read everything before the epilogue I think you’ll be satisfied. The writing wasn’t h realistic yet still ended happy which I’m all for. Most importantly for me there were no forced love triangles and everything unfolded amazingly. I’m thankful to be able to have read such a good story. I have read a couple books in this genre now and after 1-2 volumes I DNF because they don’t stay true to their characters or they go crazy with the plot so this volume was a breathe of fresh air!
