Rejecting The Alpha

Rainbow's POV

"Everybody in position?" I asked.

They all nodded saying a yes alpha.

"How sure are you that this isn't a trap?" Dad asked beside me.

"Trap or no trap I always have a way of leading my people out of danger, so if you have a problem with that I'll send a few people to take you back home, I didn't come here to let indecision take the better of us" I said putting my arrow just in place on the bow.

'Rainbow there's movement' Alvin my beta mindlinked me.

He's the only one who gets to call me by my name, since he's my best friend.

'Talk to me'... I responded.

'Rogue king' was all he said.

"That's not him…" Dad said.

"I know it's not…" I said, smiling.

' Alvin, get the archers in position, shoot only on my command, kill the hostages.' I paused… 'David!!'

'Yes alpha' David replied.

"Send your men through the east. I'll come in through the west on no account should your men shoot without my command, got that?" I spoke to my omega. David is such a sweetheart.

"Did you just say kill the hostages! Are you hearing yourself, you are going to kill your own pack members" Dad yelled whispering.

"You taught me yourself when you want to take down a rogue, think like one. Now please try not to get killed" I said getting up moving slowly towards Alvin laying beside him.

"I must say you look quite pretty today Rainbow Monroe" he said smiling.

"No time for jokes Alvin, but thank you, I'm keeping up the good work"

"You sure are my princess," he said, chuckling.

"Say that again and be rest assured you won't have teeths left" I smiled.

"Yes ma'am", he responded.

I positioned my bow.

"On 3.. 2...1.. fire!!' I mindlinked the whole pack as the great fight of their lives begun.

What is wrong with her now? I thought as I turned around slowly. “What is it mum?”.

“Where” she took a deep breath “Are you-" she paused taking a long breath this time “off too?”

‘Don’t tell me that’s why she stopped us’ Blue, my wolf spoke.

“What is it mum?” I asked again.

“And how many times do you want me to constantly tell you. Never run after me. It’s not good for your health and the baby.”

She’s got three kids, I wonder if we aren’t enough

“No I’m busy” I said walking away.

“I’ve got alpha duties, I don’t have time and I don’t want to be seen with you”

“To be seen with me? I’m your mother” her eyes were already glassy.

Walking towards the Pack council house as I took a pause, realizing I haven’t gone through all the necessary introductions.

My name’s Rainbow… Rainbow Monroe, Alpha of Creekmoon pack, people hate me for being a female as an Alpha… Which I see no wrong in.

Svetlana- Younger sister and not my favorite person at all, trust me.

Then there’s Ivan, my brother, he’s really a good kid but he prefers keeping to himself.

There’s Alvin, beta and second in command, also my best friend.

I love children, they’re really adorable little creatures. I can’t have one, I won’t have one.

I’m the Alpha of the strongest leading pack, having pups now would be seen as my weakness and If anyone wants to get to me, they’d use my kids against me.

“Why isn’t Luke here?” Referring to my father

“He said he had things to attend to” Mark the eldest council member said

“Yeah right” I scoffed rolling my eyes “We don’t need-“ Darius a council member cut me off.

“What we don’t need is you playing around!” He slammed his hands on the table harshly making me jerk a little

“Is that what you think I’m doing?” I smirked, quite taken off by surprise

“It’s what I know your doing, the mating season is in two weeks we don’t even have enough to keep this pack going much less when-“ I didn’t let him finish

“Don’t cross that line Darius, know when to shut the f*ck up. I do what I do for the good of my people and what right do you have to speak to me in that tone. I WILL NOT EXPAND MY TERRITORY FOR NO ONE, YOU WANT TO MATE, DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!” I growled slamming my hands

“And you don’t deserve to be anywhere near my mother. She’s more of a parent than you’d ever be. Take him away, let him see the view” I said looking at a few guards standing Some where

The guards just stood there “I said take him” They looked at dad muttering a sorry before taking him away

“Take her to her room, lock her up” she stopped in her tracks looking at me

“I’m not letting anything bad happen to you or the baby okay. Get her a sedative” I told the maids as they led her screaming my name inside

I turned to everyone “Shows over. Move!” And they all moved on like nothing happened
