A lone wolf? It's just as guessed. He's alone at every stage of his life, but…. He chose that fate himself. Or maybe he didn't? Maybe his life was rearranged by someone? Maybe his life wasn't his to begin with? Maybe he's just a perfect creation of someone, regardless of which side he stays? Lone wolves are deserted, weak ones, but how come this lone wolf is a lycan Alpha, who's the perfect definition of power and obliviousness? Zaccheus Anya Woolner is a wolf in denial. A werewolf, who will never accept himself as being a furry, bloodthirsty animal. Picturing that transformation in his head will be the grossest thing he would ever imagine in his life. However… A wolf is a wolf. He can never deny his fate. Maybe trying hard to reject who he is makes it harder for him as he made a grievous mistake, which made him hate his real self even more. Eneyma Neiman, an omega with the messiest and clumsiest lifestyle. As much as Anya hates himself, having a beautiful, powerful and presentable Luna as his mate might persuade him, but Eneyma? She's a wrong choice. "Did I bring doom to the whole world in my past life?" That was Anya's question as mess kept piling on mess for him. As much as they were a mess, their family is another different story. The journey of the two was an extreme one, as they embark on a journey of what they are bound to do together. Something occurs and Anya was to find out who he was, whether he likes it or not. It got to the stage of forcefully accepting himself in the presence of the real power and antagonist. What is the full story? Who are the orchestrators designing his life behind the scene? And, what's Eneyma's role in this exhausting life of her mate? * "That clown is my mate? Moon goddess, we need to have a serious talk!" The denying Alpha challenged his god.
Chapter 1: Wolf Untamed
The few people inside the bar were staring at this particular strange lady that entered, looking like a country bumpkin.
Of course, that was a better description. Even a bumpkin will give it their all to look their best on their first arrival to the city, but this did nothing of such.
She looked tattered in her raggedy, silk padded dress and woven slippers.
Her hair looked like thick dreads, as it was so unkempt. Anyone could bet she was rearing countless lice on that head.
However, Eneyma Neiman couldn't mind them, since a bigger battle was taking place inside of her.
Her inner wolf, Neala restlessness was doubled and the creature's greatest shrill came up next.
'Mate!!!!!!' she screamed and just immediately, she heard a yell some distances away from her.
"Shut the f*ck up!" It definitely came from the man sitting in front of the counter and if she wasn't mistaken that was the man Neala was referring to, as she picked up his scent immediately.
He finally glanced behind and when his cold gaze landed on her, her heart skipped a bit.
"You gotta be kidding." She heard him scoff silently.
'He's my mate?! This Greek god?' She unbelievably wondered.
'Finally! Eventually! At last! We found him! Our mate!' Neala was more than excited, as that was the greatest achievement of her life.
The excitement got transmitted to Eneyma, as she found her feet scrambling towards him with her silk bundle held possessively to her chest.
Blinded by happiness and fulfillment, her usual habit interfered. She tripped over a table and fell on her face.
"Moon goddess, we need to have a serious talk." Zaccheus Anya Woolner, chuckled aggressively and tore away his gaze from her, facing his front again.
"What are you doing, zacchaeus? Don't! It's me, Raphael." A young boy in his highschool uniform retreated slowly, staring at something.
Noises were flying around the thick wood. Distant screams and triggering sounds of rushing footsteps, diving through the dry leaves.
The image was blurry as it kept flickering around between Raphael and an unknown predator.
What was going on wasn't fully pictured, however it was sure another highschool student was with him.
"What's up with your eyes? They are turning red. Zacchaeus!" Raphael panicked again.
The creature growled and sight of protruding claws flashed across briefly.
He was unable to run away in the thick and dark forest, since it might be more dangerous than escaping the known threat in front of him, so he bet his life on persuading him.
"Calm down and come back to your senses. This is not you, Anya!!!!" He thundered and a sudden ray of light appeared out of nowhere.
"God!" Anya panted as he woke and instantly sat up on his bed. He held his head and gritted his teeth painfully.
"Again?! When am I ever going to have a silent night, without these shoddy images?" He condemned the dream he had been having since he was eighteen years of age.
"How about you try and look more into it? You still haven't found out why Raphael disappeared ten years ago?" He heard in his head and scoffed.
"You're a big joker. Who do you think is going to know best? Me or you? You did it all! I don't care what happened in that forest ten years ago, but just know… you did it all. Bear the burden alone, animal!" He told his inner wolf, Tan, off.
"And let this be the last time you f*ck*ng pop into my head unaware, you damned animal. Be quiet, for Christ sake… is that too much to ask? So much for taking up a space inside there without my consent." He hissed, finding him so annoying to entertain.
Anya slide off the bed, yanking his duvet away in anger
"I'm just trying to--"
"If you say a word there… just a word, I'll go outside there and bang my own head against an electric pole till it crushes. I promise you." He chipped in, before he could show his unnecessary care.
"For goodness sake! It's been quiet for nearly a month now. Why is it suddenly being talkative?" He soliloquized, entering the bathroom in only a plain, green jogger and his bare, built upper body.
"It's my life. I'm the owner. I say what I am, you people don't define me. I'm not a wolf. I'm not any d*mn alpha, I'm simply Anya. Anya Woolner. A human being, just like anyone in this street of California." You can count that as his watch word. What he made up to believe and he's consistently following.
Zaccheus Anya Woolner. A twenty eight years old, alpha. A werewolf who insists on being a human.
He knows nothing else apart from his mother.
He didn't know where he hails from or which pack he belongs to… That's going far, he didn't even know what those terms are.
He intentionally stayed away from knowing anything related to werewolves and he keep living his life as a normal human in the street of California.
However, once a thief always a thief. Once a werewolf, always a werewolf. He was living with great difficulties, trying so hard to adjust with humans. It was hard to control his strength.
A lot of do's and don'ts, which he had no idea how to go about. Ranging from hearing other people's discussions from miles away to sleepwalking a few times and waking up outside his home and also unintentionally breaking objects, destroying things and hurting people.
His greatest victim was his inner wolf. Tan was practically imprisoned inside Anya. He didn't even acknowledge him as a great part of him. He often referred to him as 'it'. He shunned him out, at every single chance he's got.
Why will he even dare to interfere with his daily life? Unless he's ready for some manic episode of threats. Threats that sends shudders down one's spine.
Tan has known to keep quiet and control himself. That's the price to pay for being the nonchalant Alpha's inner wolf.
When the full moon comes, it's a different story. He has no control over himself. As much as he hates wolfing out, he can't shun Tan out that particular day.
Tan's aggressiveness always takes over his stubbornness. They are like two enemies trapped in a body; "What I am versus what I want to be." But one thing is notable, he never remembers what he does after shifting.
Anya heard the sound of the door's passcode being punched in and he smirked lightly. He rushed out of the bathroom in his black bathrobe, dashed out of his room and jogged downstairs.
"Baby." A lady called, coming inside with a full smile on her glossy, pinkish lips. Her wavy, strawberry blonde looked particularly shiny and she approached him, as it bounced on her shoulder.
"Mithian." Anya called and she crumbled into his arms. That is another strategy he had developed to utmostly persuade himself.
He got deeply involved with a human woman, who loved him like her life.
Mithian is the definition of beauty. Her enticing, milky white skin, to how perfectly proportioned her face and body was. She will look good, even in a rag.
"What are you doing here early in the morning?" He asked when she finally pulled away.
"And what about you, why are you not ready? I came here to go to work with you. I'll drop you on the way after we have breakfast in a café." She said, grinning brightly.
"I'm sure you know I have my own car?" Anya arched his brow and she nudged him with her fist.
"It's an excuse to see your face. I'll pick you up as well. Why worry about a freebie? You've got nothing to lose." She replied and he chuckled.
"Okay, fine." He pulled her closer and was about to hug her, when Tan growled all of a sudden.
"Did you hear that?" Mithian jerked back in fear, hearing the beastly, inhuman growl.
Chapter 2: Eneyma Neiman
"Get that b*tch." Rukar, the Luna of icy blue moon pack ordered, and all the she-wolves dashed after the only daughter of Alpha Reuben Neiman, Eneyma.
"What did I even take? Just a grape in that b*tch plate…. I must be crazy." What she did dawned on her too late, as she cried over spilled milk.
The freshly green and plum grape which was just harvested at dawn really messed up with her brain, as it was her favorite.
She increased her speed, but she was aware the search was going to last the whole day, as she knew it's a must for the maids to catch her.
"Fail to catch her and you all are losing a limb each." Rukar is never going to spare her.
The chase became more desperate, as it's something the crazy Luna can do in just a second and no one will hold her to it. She knew all the corners and blind spots of the house, since getting chased is a regular thing for her.
Eneyma is practically unwanted and an eyesore in the house.
Thumping sounds of l
