Captured by the Alpha King

Third Party POV

Alpha Maverick received news from his soldiers that the alpha of the Red Moon pack was refusing to back down from all his bad deeds. He sent a warning insisting that he stop terrorizing the neighboring pack members, but Alpha Ryker was too stubborn to listen to anyone. So many complaints had been brought to Alpha Maverick regarding Alpha Ryker, but nothing had changed yet.

"He is refusing to stop terrorizing them," Rowan said, Maverick's beta and closest friend. 

Maverick was so p*ss*d off, "That man wants to die. He dares defy my warning. How dare he?" 

Rowan had to keep shut, not wanting to say a word that might make him even more angry.

Maverick stared at Rowan and asked, "What do you suggest I do? I need to bring an end to this rubbish." 

Rowan wasn't sure if the alpha would like his idea, but there was no harm in bringing it up, he thought to himself. "I have a suggestion, but I don't know how you'll take it." 

Maverick stared at him with wide eyes, "Have I ever defied your opinion? That man is my worst enemy, and if there's anything I want, it's to kill him. That's the only thing that can make me happy right now." Maverick said to Rowan, who nodded.

"I did my findings and found out that he has a daughter, and she is a spoilt brat and her father's favorite child," Rowan said. 

Maverick stared at Rowan like he was insane. Rowan was already seeing the disapproving look on the alpha's face, so he said, "Please listen to me first." Maverick nodded for him to continue, which he did.

"I think if we want to teach Alpha Ryker a lesson, then we should do it through his daughter. I have someone who will help if you're ready," Rowan said, and Maverick thought about it.

 "Tell me about this young lady," he said. Rowan was glad the alpha was finally interested. 

"From my source, I found out that she's spoilt and treats her maids with disrespect. She's just like her father, and she's Alpha Ryker's favorite."

"I'll suggest we punish that old man by kidnapping his daughter," Rowan said. Maverick thought about it and then saw the plan as something reasonable. "I think I'll do as you said. So, how do we go about it?" 

Rowan smiled, "This is the time you'll set a meeting with Ryker. Remember that man has been wanting a meeting with you. Why not make it possible? This way, we can use that moment to get his daughter since most of the soldiers he has will be with him at the meeting point with you."

Maverick liked the idea, but he needed more. He needed to know who and who would be aware of this plan. Maverick leaned back in his chair, his fingers drumming slowly on the polished wood of his desk. His sharp gaze lingered on Rowan, analyzing every word he'd just said.

 "I like the sound of it," Maverick muttered, "but I need loyalty. I need silence. If one word of this leaks"

"It won't," Rowan assured him quickly. "I already have the people in mind. They're not part of the regular patrol. They answer only to me."

Maverick raised a brow. "Are they skilled?" Maverick didn't want anything to go wrong. He needed to protect the pack, and that required him to be careful with his plans.

 "Deadly," Rowan replied. "Well-trained. They've handled worse situations without leaving a trace. They'll get in and out without anyone knowing."

The Alpha nodded slowly. "We'll need a cover story. Something to keep Ryker from suspecting foul play when his daughter goes missing. I want him confused. Broken." 

Rowan smirked. "That's where the meeting comes in. We'll lure him out, and make it look like we're finally ready to negotiate. We give him a sliver of hope. He'll be too focused on the politics to notice what's happening back at his pack."

Rowan was too excited for this . He has long for this confrontation and he is ready to make it happen . This is their only way to punish Ryker's daughter . This is the only best way. 

Maverick stood up abruptly and began pacing. "Good. Very good. We take the girl, shake his world, and then we watch him crumble. But I want her alive. No bruises, no blood." 

Maverick wants to exact the same revenge on Ryker's daughter. He has kept this for so long.

"She won't know what hit her," Rowan said confidently. "And once she's in our hands, we'll control the game."

Maverick smirked, "I already have an idea of what to do with that spoilt brat once she's here." Rowan was eager to know what the alpha had in mind. "What is it, Alpha?"

Maverick smirked, "There's an auction coming up. Don't you think this is the best time to sell her off together with the other pets?" 

Rowan nodded with a sly smile, "That's a great idea. Always count me in, Alpha. I'll do whatever you want me to do."

Maverick stopped pacing and turned to face Rowan, his eyes cold with purpose. "You've served me well, Rowan. Begin the preparations. I want everything ready within three days. I'll summon Ryker for the meeting myself. Let's see how he handles losing the only thing he cares about." 

Rowan bowed his head. "As you command, Alpha."

As Rowan turned to leave, Maverick added, "And Rowan... if anything goes wrong, if anyone breathes a word, kill them." Rowan didn't hesitate. "Understood."

And just like that, the plan was set in motion. Alpha Ryker's reign of terror was about to face a storm he never saw coming, one that would strike not at his borders, but at his heart.

Soon enough, Alpha Maverick summoned a soldier to come see him. He needed to send a letter, and that letter needed to be delivered today, no matter what. The letter needed to reach the Red Moon pack. This was an urgent matter.

PIPER

I snapped my eyes open from a bad dream. I sat upright right on my bed and was breathing fast. The dream wasn't like the other dreams I used to have. This was different. This was terrible. I couldn't imagine what this meant again. 

I saw myself being auctioned. I didn't know how I got there, but I saw myself there. This was scary because whenever I had dreams like this, they always came to pass. I didn't know what was about to fall upon me, but one thing was clear: I needed to be prepared.

No one knew that I had dreams like this one. No one knew about it. This was something I kept to myself. The only one who had an idea was my favorite maid, Elsa. She was the only one who knew me so well.

Right on time, there was a knock on the door. I had to sit upright, not wanting any of the maids to know that I was in a bad mood. Dad had already instructed them to keep a close eye on me. He wanted everything I did to be reported to him.
