Alpha’s regret: Chasing my rejected mate

I don't like this story one bit. First let's talk about the female protagonist Emily, she had a heartbreak in the beginning and in 2 days she leaves her pack moves to another and there she fall in love with that pack's beta on just 2 days of going there. Did she also not value her relationship with Louis that she moved on so easily?? And why is she so weak and dumb? Can't she fight for her independence or can't she make a perfect plan to escape?? She disappoints me so much. Now talk about male protagonist, Louis, he was so idiot that just before his wedding his parents came and tell him not to choose Emily for wedding and he did that. Can't he make them agree to his decision or doesn't he know that his parents were not agreed to his marriage with Emily in the begging?? They must have told him something about that earlier, don't they?? Now supporting characters were also dumb and idiots. They don't know what transpired actually and were easy to be fooled by anyone. And their packs' security, well there was no security at all. And the competition for the alpha's bride, the competition looks like the child's play cuz they don't tell anyone about what to do in the competition and at last they did what the contest told them to do, like seriously 😒. Protagonists are somewhat smart. I don't like ending at all. I don't like the story at all.
