Alpha's Regret: Chasing His Betrayed Luna

THIRD POV

The morning in The Blackwood Pack seemed to be going the same as usual. The cool air blows slowly and softly, carrying the scent of dew and damp earth around the victorious pack. Sunlight slipped between the lush trees, and slowly began to illuminate the paths that the members of The Blackwood Pack used to walk to their homes, their fields of work, and the place where the warriors always conducted their war training.

In the midst of all this activity, Rosalie stood on the balcony of her room with her long brown hair left loose over her back with her body clad in a simple dress. Her gaze was gentle yet full of authority. Rosalie always woke up early to do her duties as Luna at The Blackwood Pack, and made sure that everything went very well there.

Before long, Rosalie decided to step out of her room to walk around the pack territory, greeting the small children playing in the front yard of the pack, and giving smiles and warm greetings to everyone in The Blackwood Pack. There was not a single person in the pack who did not respect Rosalie as Luna. They all loved Rosalie dearly, not just because of her title as the pack's Luna, or as their Alpha mate, but because of Rosalie's gentleness that never faded, even when the pack was facing difficult circumstances.

“Don't run too fast or you'll fall over...” Rosalie said, reminding the little ones running around, while occasionally saying hello to her.

“Yes, Luna!” The little ones replied in unison, then went back to running around.

Rosalie looked at them with her face looking very cheerful and bright. A big smile also graced Rosalie's face now. There was a shadow of hope instantly visible in her eyes, which was to have a child. Come to think of it, Rosalie had been Luna in The Blackwood Pack for almost two years, and during that time she and Killian had been trying to have a child of their own. Even so, the Moon Goddess seemed to want them to be a little patient about having children at this time.

Rosalie continued her steps towards The Blackwood Pack's central hall which was located in the center of the pack's village. In the center, Rosalie would usually sit with the pack elders to listen to the suggestions, needs, and complaints of the pack members. Rosalie's words to them always sounded pleasant. “Luna Rosalie... come here.” An elder greeted Rosalie's arrival with a friendly look on his face. Followed by other elders who also greeted Rosalie and prepared chairs for Rosalie to sit among them there.

Rosalie nodded her head slowly, still with a smile on her face, then stepped further into the center, and sat among the elders. “Are there any other complaints from the members about the problems in our river pack?” Rosalie asked slowly as she looked at the elders one by one.

“There have been no more complaints filed by members, Luna. Everything is going very well. The problems that previously occurred in our pack river have also been resolved, so no members have any problems or complaints.”

With fairly quick steps, Rosalie made her way inside the pack to her room. I don't know why, but Rosalie felt her stomach churning, and as hard as she could from earlier, Rosalie held herself back from throwing up in front of everyone there. Without waiting any longer, Rosalie ran into the bathroom of her room, and vomited the contents of her stomach. Several times, until Rosalie actually felt more relieved, and immediately wiped her lips with running water.

Rosalie looked at her reflection in the bathroom sink mirror, and instantly remembered something. Quickly, Rosalie straightened up and looked at the small calendar hanging on the wall outside the bathroom. “Oh my. I've missed my period.” Rosalie muttered as she realized there was a change in the date of her period that she hadn't had in a while. Rosalie stood silently looking at the calendar.

“Is it possible?” Rosalie's voice sounded shaky.

Rosalie went back into the bathroom, opened the drawer under the sink and rummaged through its contents to find the testpack she had been keeping. After finding it, Rosalie paused for a moment, and looked uncertainly at the testpack that was now in her hand. Rosalie let out her breath slowly, adjusting her breathing several times to feel much calmer now.

Rosalie finally tried the testpack, and waited with her feelings feeling very anxious, and also anxious. Until after waiting for a while, two red lines appeared on the device, and instantly Rosalie could no longer hold back her tears and burst into tears. Rosalie sat on the toilet while holding the testpack tightly in the palm of her right hand, and sobbed. Rosalie never thought for a moment that she was actually pregnant now.

Rosalie continued to express her gratitude about the good news she had just received.
