Warrior Dargox BEX 'Returning To You' Synopsis. Jess never imagined, not for a second, that aliens existed. Until she was kidnapped by a strange race called Lars, along with other humans, until only Karen and she were left. She went through hell before another strange race, called Dargox, saved her. Then Jess fell straight into the arms of a huge, tall, muscular man who came to rescue her. She was being rescued by "Bigfoot," and he was the sexiest thing she had ever seen. The attraction between them was instantaneous, but Jess knew she couldn't have him, she couldn't stay with him. Bex never considered the possibility of having his own female without having to share her with other males... until her. That small, delicate, but fierce human who refused to accept it.
Chapter 1
CAPÍTULO 1
JESS.
The nights had become one of Jess's favorite things; because it was easy for her to look at the sky full of stars and know that, somewhere, many light years away from Earth, he was there. The person she had fallen deeply in love with but was too stubborn to admit it. Now she regretted not having done so, not having told him how she felt.
No matter how hard she tried to get Bex out of her thoughts, she couldn't. And always, at any moment, the last night she spent with him at her house came to her mind. Those nights were the worst of all for Jess; as she had to act as if nothing strange was happening when he was around, when in fact she was far from all that.
Telling lies to someone was bad, but lying to oneself was even worse. It was a destruction of her own soul.
How much she wished to see him again. To see Bex, Karen and even Drak and Gexton, those honorable warriors who fought for them and saved them. She still blushed at the troubles she gave the poor men, when all they wanted was to help her.
Letting out a soft sigh, she turned her gaze to the entrance of her house; just in time to see her mother appear with Daisy on the dirt road, after their long nightly walk. An addiction she acquired shortly after Jess had disappeared. Her mother had explained that after she disappeared, the only thing that could calm her down was going out at night with Daisy, and only then could she manage to sleep.
What Jess found upon returning home was horrible for her, leaving her with a broken heart and feeling guilt tearing her poor soul apart with each passing day. Her father had died of a heart attack shortly after she disappeared and they couldn't find her. Leaving her mother alone, who had to face two losses. She couldn't understand where that woman found the strength not to break into a thousand pieces and keep the ranch going. The only person who had been there for her was her loyal employee Bob, who had been working with her parents for years. But Jess knew, deep down inside her mother's heart, she felt broken, shattered, alone.
Jess felt guilty for everything and, although her mother assured her that none of it was her fault, she knew it wasn't true. It had been three years since she returned home and although she missed the guys, her only real reason for wanting to go back were her parents. And only one was missing.
Getting up from the roof of the house, she joined her thumb and index finger and brought them to her mouth, rolling her tongue around them and expelling air from her lungs to create her characteristic whistle, letting her mother know she was there. Her mother brought a hand to her eyes to block the light from the lanterns.
"There you go again up there! You know you could fall, those tiles are already a bit old and you could slip!" her mother shouted.
Jess smiled at her.
"I'm not a child anymore, mom. I can be careful. Besides, I think like you, I like to come up here at night and look at the stars." her mother looked up at the sky and smiled, with a sad look in her beautiful dark green eyes.
"It's beautiful out there, isn't it?" her mother asked absentmindedly. Jess had told her the whole truth of what had happened, as she could only trust her. To the authorities she had given a completely different story: one where she said she had run away with a lover she had, a lie she had made up on the spot when she found out that her boyfriend, the man she claimed to love, had gotten married barely a year after her disappearance. She had been away for two years but for Jess it had only been a couple of months.
"Yes. It's really beautiful out there. Things you would never imagine." putting a finger to her mouth she indicated her to be silent, Jess felt that the government was listening to everything that was said. They usually spoke inside the house with the TV on. "Dinner is ready. I'll set the table." she said before starting to move carefully on the roof, to the window of her room. Before entering, she saw her mother getting off the brown mare her father had given her.
"I know you miss him mom... I'm sorry." many times she wished she could tell her every day how sorry she felt. She had tried once and her mother interrupted her; telling her she didn't want to hear her lament for something she wasn't to blame for.
"How was your day at the hospital?" her mother asked sitting at the table. Jess had resumed her doctor career studying double than a normal student, as she had lost a lot of time, to graduate from college. Now she was working as a resident at Marfen hospital and the workdays were tough.
"Exhausting. My surgery chief is a nightmare. He likes to give me the most complicated cases to see how I handle them... Only he doesn't know that I won't give him the satisfaction of giving up, if I didn't want to save lives I wouldn't be there in the first place." she remembered the small argument she had with her idiot boss that same morning, when he cornered her in the break room. Jess could feel something else was going on there but just imagining her with someone other than... she quickly stopped her thoughts from going to a place she was having trouble getting out of.
"Idiot." her mother said.
"That's exactly what I thought."
"Don't give him the satisfaction of seeing you quit. A Williams never gives up, clear?" Jess sometimes forgot how authoritative, tough and imposing her mother could be. It made her feel proud of her. The woman was her greatest role model. For her forty years, she was still a beautiful woman who kept herself well-preserved and in very good shape, with an hourglass figure toned by hard work in the field and her self-defense classes. Her perfect olive skin resembled that of Jess. Her black hair reached the level of her back, she refused to cut it. Jess and her mother Veronica looked a lot alike, except for the eye color, which she inherited from her father; a white man with brown eyes.
"Very clear, mom." she replied with a smile.
"Good." they finished eating and both washed the dishes.
"Mom?"
"Yes?" Veronica looked at her while finishing drying the dishes.
"I know that after I came back we didn't talk about what happened, but... do you really believe everything I told you? I mean, I know you could never imagine that there is life out there. Intelligent life, much more than us."
"I believe you, baby. You have never lied to me and I don't understand why you would do it now. You know that I have always told you that you can lie to me or anyone, and know that you are hurting them. But lying to yourself is the worst way to self-destruct." Jess nodded in understanding.
"I know. And that's why I had to tell you the truth. Because I love you and I couldn't hide something like that from you."
"Okay, little one." her mother approached her and hugged her. "You tell me that this woman, Karen, decided to stay there..."
"Yes."
"Wow, poor thing, it's hard not having anyone here on Earth waiting for her." Jess had only told her mother that Karen decided to stay there because on Earth she had no one.
"She is happier in Dargox than here. Plus, she is partnered—" she made quotation marks with her fingers, "—with Drak. They were starting a family the last time I saw her." her mother looked bewildered.
"Do-does that mean she and he...?"
"Yes. They can have s*x like any couple here... I think. I know she was expecting twins."
"Oh my God, and you're only telling me now. Why didn't you mention it before?"
"I don't know. I didn't think it was important." she shrugged and continued with the dishes.
"Jess... You wouldn't have...?"
Feeling her cheeks burning, she lowered her head.
"No. I mean, you know I'm not a virgin. But I never had anything with any of them, having s*x implied a lifetime lover, it's not like here. They believe in lifelong bonds."
"But...."
"What?" she looked surprised. She turned off the tap to face her mother.
"I can see you, Jess. I'm your mother, don't forget that. Mothers are very intuitive and can see beyond what children think. I know you miss that place, even better... You miss someone there and I know it's not Karen precisely."
Jess leaned on the kitchen counter and looked at her shoes before responding.
"His name is Bex. He is one of the warriors who saved us and the only one who endured my screams no matter how much he could hurt him. He spoke to the council that he was in love with me, or well, something like that anyway. Since for them it means something else."
"To the council?"
"Yes, mom. Do you remember that I told you that they; along with the king, leader, governor or whatever he is, make the important decisions in Dargox."
"I remember. So, you love this guy. Because he definitely is a guy to me, if they can have relationships with humans."
Jess felt embarrassed to have to talk to her mother about these things, but she didn't have anyone else to do it with.
"My heart misses him. It's a strange feeling what I feel here," she brought her hand to her chest, "It's as if we have a connection. It's as if he also misses me... Or needs me."

Chapter 2.
BEX.
It had been three blakef months since he let his Neka go, because he didn't have the strength to hold her against her will. He had noticed the sadness in her eyes, and he had heard her talking with the female Drak about her parents. That was the reason he didn't want to interfere with her decision.
Although he knew she also wanted to stay because he could feel it, he remained silent. That strange connection he felt with Jess was the best thing that could have happened to him. The one he felt when he cornered her on his first night in his kasa when he entered her room and found her wrapped in a towel to dry her small, thin body. Jess looked so beautiful that he wanted to lock her up and not let anyone else see her. The most primitive and primal instincts of his ancestors came to the surface when she was near.
Now, everything was different, she had left never to return. He couldn't go look for her because he didn't ha
