One day, the office door slowly opened, and an elderly man, Finnian, in his seventies, led his fourteen-year-old granddaughter inside. Their arrival interrupted the work of Caspian, the head of the DragonGate. Caspian, a middle-aged man, exuded an air of authority and seriousness.

"Yes, I understand." The girl nodded.

Even though Caspian was pleased with her, he knew the final decision rested with Thaddeus. Thaddeus had always been selective about the people around him since childhood, dismissing those he disliked.

As Caspian finished speaking, the office door was pushed open, and Thaddeus walked in, followed by two young men of similar age.

"Dad, what's so urgent that you called me here?" Thaddeus asked.

"She's Finnian's granddaughter. I plan to have her follow you from now on, and she will become your secretary when she's older. You have no objections, right?" Caspian pointed at the girl.

Thaddeus glanced at the slender girl, his eyes lingering on her pretty face for a moment before he spoke impatiently, "You called me back for this trivial matter?" He complained and then turned to leave.

"Son, what are you..." Caspian started, but Thaddeus stopped at the door, turned around, and coldly glanced at the girl, declaring arrogantly, "From now on, you're mine."
