Chapter 1: The Unexpected Outcome
CATHERINE'S P.O.V
"What...what is that?" Andrew sounded panicked, I snuck a glance at Jessica and I could see her frozen with shock.
"What is happening here?" The priest yelled.
The sensual and wanton sounds of their yesterday exercise filled the whole hall, looks of shock and confusion were displayed all everyone's faces.
"Just remaining the video" I whispered and to my expectation, the whole guests were shocked as they watched the video of my sister and my fiance having s*x on the large screen.
There were gasps and muttering but my focus was on Andrew, he had a very frantic look on his face as he stared between me, the screen and Jessica.
"Babe, this...this is not what you think" he tried to assure me.
"It's not?" I asked innocently with my eyes wide open.
"Turn it off, turn it off right now" Jessica screamed, absolute horror on her pale face.
"Yes, turn it off, what is wrong with you all? Who put you up to this?" Andrew yelled as he ran to the electrical switch and pulled the wire off, the screen immediately went blank.
Andrew quickly ran back to me, his eyes wide and frantic as he explained. "Listen, babe, it's not what you think. The video is fake"
"Y..yes Cath, the video is fake. It's not us" Jessica nodded as she clenched her hands tight to the point they were almost white.
With a tight smile, I headed to a long table took a microphone and pulled off my veil with a flourish. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming. I'm sure you are surprised at what you just heard and witnessed..." I turned to smirk at them both, they were staring at me with question marks in their eyes.
"Babe, what are you doing?"
"Catherine?"
I turned back to face the people. "You see, there won't be a wedding today"
"Huh?"
"What?"
Gasps filled the room again, I held up my hand to silence them.
"I'm sure it's all a shock, after all, you guys spent a lot to come here and we also spent a lot but you see, the video you guys just saw is a very bonafide reason why I will not marry the groom."
"Catherine, what are you saying? Are you calling off the wedding because of this fake video" Andrew yelled as he pulled me to face him. I glared at him and immediately recoiled.
"Fake video? I was the one who recorded that video"
A shocked look came over his features, the same as Jessica's, I grinned at them. "Y..you were there?" He whispered.
"Yes, I was there. In the closet the whole time, I knew when you guys entered and I knew when you guys finished and left and then you came back into the room like nothing had happened and you had the guts to place your filthy hands on me. Why?" I screamed at them with a heaving chest and red eyes.
He took a step forward and went back, his mouth was open as he tried to form words that seemed to not escape his lips.
"C...Catherine, I'm...so so sorry. I...we..." Jessica stammered as she focused on me, I had tears formed in my eyes as I stared at her, my voice came out weak.
"Jessica why? Why Jessica? My fiance of all people. You of all people, my d*mn sister, I loved you so much, you know that right? "
She bit her lips as she fidgeted with her hands. "I'm sorry, it's just that we fell in love a long time before you guys met and I just couldn't let him go".
"Then why didn't you say anything ?" I yelled, "...You should have told me and this wouldn't have happened."
"Because Mom and Dad had already planned for you guys to get married"
"I'm sorry Catherine, let's get this marriage back on track" Andrew pleaded.
"Well, its obvious isn't it, this wedding is not happening" I snorted with a wave of my hands.
"Oh no, a wedding is happening"
"What!" I turned my head to see my parents walking towards us with pale faces and angry eyes.
"Catherine, I understand that you are hurt and are feeling betrayed by your sister, but look on the bright side..." My mother started, "...they both love each other so I don't think it will problem for them to let them get married. Isn't that right dear?"
"Yes, this is what I think will be for the best. You don't want him anymore, so your sister having him shouldn't be a problem right?" Dad seconded with a cheery grin.
I stared, dumbfounded at both of them. This time, it was my turn to gape at them with an open mouth. "Mom, dad are you listening to yourselves speak? You want me to let my sister marry my fiance?"
"Ex-fiance" Mom corrected.
"Whatever, the fact I don't want him doesn't mean she should have him, its not right"
"And who says it's not right? Sure, it's okay if the two get married right?" Dad looked at the priest, he nodded hastily still confused.
"Well since the two people in question have consummated, I think it is okay"
"No it is not okay" I screamed out in frustration.
"Oh come on don't be a wimp, let me take these, Jessica's dress can serve as her wedding gown" Mom drew closer and took off my hairpin and all the decorations on my head.
"We are in a lot of debt sweetie and I will not miss this chance to get them cleared from our family, we need Andrew's family's money, be a good girl and let us take care of our family." she suddenly whispered fiercely to me.
My eyes widened as I realized that she only cared about my family status rather than my feelings. I watched as she hurriedly placed everything on Jessica who had a small grin on her face as she glanced at me,triumph shown in her eyes as she grinned wider. She was the victorious one now. Then I decided to do the only thing I could do.....
Chapter 2: Just For One Night
I ran, I held up my wedding gown and ran with tears streaming down my face. Of course, no one even stopped me as I ran, I'm pretty sure they already forgot about me, choosing to focus on my sister and my cheating fiance. I ran and ran until I was standing at the edge of a bridge. I looked down and stared at the long distance that led to the deep waters below. The water looked so still and peaceful, so tempting.
This wasn't what I had planned, this wasn't what I had expected. I wanted to expose them and get revenge but instead, I just helped bring them together much faster. Who would have thought that I would use my own hands to dig my grave? My mother would rather save the family's image and let my sister marry my ex-fiance than let me get the justice I deserved.
"Why? I hate everything! I hate everyone! Why is nothing working for me and this was supposed to be my day? My day. My wedding day" I balled my fists as I screamed my heart off, I didn't care if anyone didn't se
