I don't know why Kate thinks so lowly of herself by thinking that she does not deserve to be with someone like Lucas. I also believe that Lucas is aiding those thoughts by not being frank with her, pretending not to love her and still hung up on her ex! He should have told Bethany from the word go that he is not her brother in law and is now married, she should respect his wife. Honestly both Lucas didn't deserve her

Such a journey! Woman betrayed by the very person who should be the one she could trust. Amazingingly meets a stranger who ends up caring and helping her.. although there is something mysterious about him. Should she believe in him…trust him? This story is a maze of conflicting emotions and sometimes a bit difficult to decide would anyone really go through this… but it is fiction. Characters are Well written with unusual twists. Ending is a bit abrupt but okay.

Generally I did enjoy the story. I'm glad Kate ended up with Lucas having escaped from her first husband and all his shenanigans. It's troubling to think that was a doctor. He should be in jail not a hospital. I could understand given her experience with him why Kate never really let her guard down and remained essentially insecure with Lucas. I would have recorded some of the conversations she had with Beth any and played them to Lucas so he could see what a scheming manipulative cow she was. Don't know why she didn't do that. The ending was very odd leaving the reader high and dry. I think there was more to tell there. With a better more realistic ending I would have given it a higher rating but the ending let it down.

Very interesting so far and just when I think I know where it’s going there’s a change. I find myself rooting for him and that he wins her over. I think she could be nicer to him but understands she’s protecting herself from getting hurt again. I just hope this store isn’t him constantly proving himself. They both seem to have interesting friends, which helps with the story line and makes you want to know more.

This book keeps me coming back everyday to read more. The storyline is very interesting. The characters personalities and attitudes are so interesting a movie should be made to really bring it to life. The words really do make you imagine you’re there like a fly on the wall or part of an audience seeing a play. So many secret and hidden things make it feel like a story from the nineteen thirties or fourties’. I picture women in that time frame.

I liked the novel, Lucas and Kate characters are interesting. Totally disliked Daniel and Chloe they deserve that downfall. There were a few storylines that was left hanging, Riley and Frank, Zachary shouldn’t have been punished and lost out on Natalie because of something he was set up with, also losing his friendship with Lucas. It did seems like Lucas genuinely loved Kate despite her insecurities. I think they could’ve expanded on the ended, it seems a bit unfinished. Overall a good storyline.

Lucas and Kate belong together. I hope he tells her everything. Daniel made his bed and he can lay in it, with Chloe. I did start to think Lucas was Kate's benefactor but then she got that message while with Lucas. I do wonder who it is though. Lucas either has a brother the got the girl pregnant,maybe unwilling. I do hope Kate gives Lucas a real chance though, seems the could be real happy together. Daniel deserves Chloe.

Book was good. It took you all over the place. You felt a lot of different emotions. There were highs and lows. Not my story but I would have at least ended it Phoebe being exposed and Natalie and Zachary getting g together. Though I am glad about Riley and Frank. Maybe Riley and Frank are for another book as well as Natalie and Zachary. That way you could intertwine Kate and Lucas and tell the rest of their story. And it would have been the absolute best for Kate to tell Lucas she was pregnant.

I like reading this, the story line is captivating. I am still at around book fourth I wonder where the the story line will lead me. Usually the writing flounder around midway the book before it captivate you again, however most writers struggles to bring you up to Finnish the book. I am still one thirds if not a quarter of the book and it is still a very nice read. If the writer keeps it this way and the main characters remains relevant it will be one of the best story I have ever read.

Outside of the repeating likes like the author just free writing and just forgot to erase. It was a real good book. I'm a little annoyed with the ending but I mean it was still a good ending none the less. There was a lot of emotion wrote it to this story made me cry a couple times but its also funny and had never rolling in laughter. Sorry for the review to count it has to be at least 80 words
