The mage irresistibly draws and seduces Siorin as he leads her on an adventure that transverses their world, encountering all manner of brethren, for Rivyn is on quest is to rebuild his power so that he can return to the Fae Court and reclaim what has been stolen from him. I re-read this book, at least, once a month. It’s so wholesome and heartwarming. The plot is great, the adventures are gripping, the humour is subtle but fantastic. I love Rivyn and Sirion’s relationship and how they progressed from a fragile tolerance (mostly because Sirion is a saint) to a love that would literally tear cities and castles down for each other. The ending was lovely too. I’d love to read the same story but for Rivyn’s POV 😍
