Very enjoyable read! I loved the back story of the protagonist and the slow burn of the love hate relationship between Ariella and the Mafia boss. Plenty of twists and turns in the plot, that kept me wanting to read. The character development was realistic and intriguing and made the story more immersive. I would love to see a second book written, as I want to know what happened to the empire and how their love story further developed. 💛
