BLACK INDUSTRIES BOOK 1 Damian Black has always had everything—wealth, power, and the world at his feet. But when his father’s will drops a bombshell, the stakes skyrocket. To secure his inheritance, Damian must do the unthinkable: get married. As the eldest of the Black brothers, Damian’s playboy lifestyle is suddenly on the line. He’s determined to find the perfect woman, but none of them have measured up. Enter Adalyn West, Damian’s long-time personal assistant. Efficient, unflappable, and with a sharp wit that has kept Damian in line for years, Adalyn is the last woman he ever expected to consider as a bride. Adalyn’s been by his side for years, handling every detail of his life with quiet efficiency. She’s smart, loyal, and definitely not the type to cause him any trouble. Plus, she knows him better than anyone else. But there’s one problem— Damian has never seen Adalyn as more than just his PA, and the thought of marrying her feels too close for comfort. As Adalyn steps into the role of Damian’s wife, sparks fly in ways neither of them expected. What starts as a convenient arrangement quickly spirals into something far more complicated. Damian’s heart, once locked away, begins to thaw as his new wife shows him a side of herself he never knew existed. But with old flames, business rivals, and the weight of the Black legacy bearing down, Damian must decide if he’s willing to risk everything—including his heart—for the one woman who might just be perfect for him.

I love the vibe of this book. It kept me on the edge of my chair at times and I could not put it down. It kept me up all night reading which was in my eyes worth every minute of it. I especially liked the ending where they have the baby and the epilogue was refreshing talking about there lives after everything that transpired after then the baby’s first word being dadda was fitting and for Damian to be there to hear it was the icing on the cake. Good book
