{MATURE — mid slow burn, knotting, claiming, check your trigger warnings. Fmc is a plus size and won't change. This is bear shifter erotica romance.} "Look at you," Orion growled against my throat. “Taking every inch like you were made for me." "Orion—" "Say it again." his voice was gravel with hunger. "Say my name while I fill you up." "I can't — it's too much—" His grip tightened on my hips, fingers bruising, possessive. “It's exactly enough." He pressed his forehead to mine, eyes darkened. "You were made to accept my knot. Your body already knows it even if you don't.” *** Man or bear — Aurora chose a bear shifter. Aurora Whisper ran from everything she knew — the abuse, the lies, and the man who convinced her that being owned was the same as being loved. Bleeding and broken in a mountain rainstorm, the last thing she expected was him. Orion Beckham. Alpha of the Boulderback Pack. Leader of the Boulderback MC. A man built like the mountains he rules — dangerous, and completely undone by a woman who falls broken into his world and refuses to leave his mind. He is possessive. Obsessive. Devoted in ways that should frighten her but it doesn't. What he does to her body should be illegal — Orion Beckham learns every inch of her like she was made specifically for him. Because to his bear, she was. And he intends to prove it. But her past comes back — and it wants her on her knees. Too bad she already belongs to a bear.

The bear shifter theme is a nice break from wolves. There is a nice story line between dramatic events. I find myself unable to put it aside reading late into the night. Aurora as a human is clueless but comes to fit in very quickly. She has a soft heart with a fierce spirit. Unwilling to take abuse from the shifters earning her respect from many. Roland makes a great friend and side kick. Protecting Aurora when needed and being a source of information and constant medical care showing the weakness of Aurora in a bear shifter town. Orien, like all shifters has fallen head over heels for her. I wish I had a relationship so devoted. The writers exerpts at the end of each chapter are somewhat distracting and deters from the story itself, but it us nice to read the personal thoughts. I'm barely a 1/4 through the book and can't wait to see what comes next. I wish I didn't have to spend more time watching ads than reading. It interrupts the flow of the book.
