“I, Alpha Vernon Drummond, reject you Venus Seymour as my mate!” He suddenly said without giving her a chance to say anything. She was so despicable to him that he felt fate had cheated him to give him such a lowly wolf as a mate. Someone whom he bought could never be his mate. She was supposed to be his wh*r* and that should be it. “But, I… we just met each other.” Venus stammered as the rejection came with another feeling she couldn't withstand. All the strength in her body was replaced with fear and sorrow. Venus, a weak wolf of the Red legacy pack, was being sold by her father to a ruthless Alpha. Little did she knew that the Alpha was also her mate but he ended up rejecting her and making her his slave. Would her fate change after she is able to shift?

Chapter 1: Taking the trash out

“Pack your bags, as of tomorrow, you are owned by Alpha Vernon.” Alpha Ulysses announced to his daughter, staring at her with no shade of humanity glinting in his eyes. Rather, he looked at her in disgust and if it were possible, he would have balled her out of the place.

“What are you talking about father?” Venus, a young lady with an exquisite figure standing in front of him replied, shivering. She was barely standing on her feet as his aura alone was imposing a threat to her.

All she had ever received as his daughter was humiliation, hatred, and insults, and now she was sold out to another pack. She couldn’t believe her ears, she wanted to believe that maybe her senses were playing tricks on her.

“Didn’t you hear me or do I have to repeat myself over again?” Ulysses repeated, squeezing his face even more. Her presence was so disgusting to him and because she wasn’t understanding what he was saying was even making the situation worse.

“Father, I don’t know what you are talking about.” Venus Inquired trying her best to be bold.

“It means I have sold you off to Alpha Vernon. It isn’t something you should worry about. After all, you are like trash in this pack and as the Alpha, it is my duty to take the trash out.”

His words cut in deep like a double-edged sword. Venus was always hated for being weak and unable to shift. She spent her life like a slave in the pack house even as she was the daughter of the Alpha, and now he wanted to get rid of her.

Her shoulders broke down as she looked like she was going to crumble down to the floor. Her eyes became filled with tears as she then darted her eyes over to her mother who was seated on a throne close to her father, but wasn’t even spared a glance.

Mabel, her mother who has similar features as her, knew she was staring at her but didn’t bother to say anything. She did her best to avoid her gaze.

Pushing down a lump, Vernon couldn’t hold the urge to plead. Her mother was her only hope since she was the Luna of the pack and one of the people her father listened to very much.

“Mother, talk to him, please. You can’t let him do this to me. You can’t let him sell me off.” She pleaded and Mabel spared her a gaze, but it was an intense one.

“That’s the best choice for you. You should go out there where you can at least find a purpose for yourself.” Mabel replied expressionlessly.

“Exactly. I see no reason why she’s even bothered about going to Alpha Vernon. At least even as she’s worthless, she is still worth some million bucks.” Ulysses added.

Vernon couldn’t believe her ears. Those words felt like thunderbolts echoing right into her ears, deafening her earbuds. Both her father and mother didn't want her anymore. They valued power and money over their daughter and were so proud to say it out.

“Go in there and get prepared, pack your things. Alpha Vernon is coming to get you first thing in the morning.” Ulysses said again after watching her cry continuously.

“I hope you will be able to be of good use to him or else you know what will happen. You have heard tales of how dangerous he is. I hope you don’t get killed brutally.” He added again, chuckling.

Unable to withstand the torment, Venus made her way out of the throne room, running and crying. Her chest was heaving heavily in pain as she knew her fate had taken a twisted route.

Alpha Vernon was known to be a ruthless, brutal, and inhumane man. Yet out of every Alpha, her father decided to sell her off to him without caring if she would be his next victim.

This should be the highest level of hatred she had gotten from her parents over the years. It was so heavy upon her that she wished death would come for her at the moment but all she could do was run to her room to shut herself from the world.

Bang!

The door slammed loudly as she ran into the room crying and soon after, a lady in her early twenties came sprinting towards her. She had an hourglass figure but compared to Venus she was less.

She was always adorned with beautiful dresses even as she was Venus's younger sister.  Not only that, but she was significant and viewed to be the next in-line Alpha. Itzel, Venus's junior sister was the only one who sided with her in the worst scenario, but there was a limit to her actions.

“What is it? Why are you crying?” Itzel rushed upon her curiously.

Venus looked at her and tried saying something, but her lips kept trembling. Nothing was coming out, no matter how hard she tried to convey the words.

Itzel figured something must have gone wrong but couldn’t guess what it could be. She could only grab Venus's shoulders leading her to the bed to sit.

Thereafter, she bent her head over to her lap and started stroking her hair slowly. Though it was helpful, it didn’t quench the feeling of pain and betrayal Venus was feeling.

“What did father say to you?” Itzel couldn’t hold down her curiosity any longer.

“He… he… sold me to Alpha Vernon.” Venus stammered, sniffing so hard while biting her fingers.

“What? Father did what?” Itzel jumped to her feet. Her face squeezed in anger while her finger fisted to the side in rage.

“How could he? Alpha Vernon is the most ruthless Alpha alive. He kills for a living and father sold you off to him?” Itzel yelled. She knew their father hated Venus but doing such was going to be far. How could he sell his daughter off just like that? Doesn't she mean anything to him? Itzel was bubbling with rage and couldn’t hold it down.

“I am going to tell him. This doesn't feel right!” Itzel said again, turning to face the door, but a voice came in, making both of them shiver.

“Don’t even bother. No number of words is going to make me change my mind from selling that trash out.”

Chapter 2: Mate?

“Alpha Vernon is on his way so you should get prepared. I won't tolerate any insolent behavior from you!” Ulysses walked into the room with an icy-cold stare as he made the announcement.

Compared to him, Alpha Vernon was on another level of power-drunk so it wouldn't be nice of Ulysses to breach the deal. Though he didn't intend to, he felt like Venus might result in seeking an escape which was why he arranged two burly men by the door to guard it.

Itzel tried to speak up, to voice her disapproval about his decision but he pointed a finger to her face muting her off. The deadly glint in his eyes didn't give her a chance to say anything no matter how hard and tried to be stubborn.

“Pathetic!” He snorted before leaving the room slamming the door hard.

Time passed and silence filled the room. Venus had no choice but to get prepared since the Alpha was announced to be on his way. Occasionally, Iztel kept peeking glances at her but cou
