Good pace. Excellent character development, each including complexity and depth regardless of whether main or minor characters. Unique relationships, including familial, romantic, friendly, or antagonistic. Good conflict and realistic, satisfying resolution. Anxiety ridden anticipation effectively built in expectation of conflict. All descriptions very realistic, including those of torture, pain, punishment, or anguish. Very spicy moments!Desirable, explosive, passionate encounters intimately described. Fantastic world that included werewolves, ancestors, witches, wizards, adults, teens, children …all passing through beautifully described landscapes, buildings, and homes.

I totally enjoyed this book. Even though there was not many chapters it was still power packed and kept me anticipating reading the next chapter. I enjoyed all of the suspense and drama. I really loved romance of it all and nothing was left to the imagination. I love how it showed that love always wins out in the end over evil. I did not like however how it ended letting you know of course there has to be a part two.

The story was fast paced , the narrative moving along nicely whilst introducing a series of engaging characters . I particularly liked the dynamic between the feisty and independent little witch and her Alpha . The plot had quite a few twists and turns though there were times when it jumped unexpectedly leaving you with the feeling that something was missing or had been left out . This might have been the result if editing since the story was quite short . The best bit was the cliffhanger ending. Is there more to come ?

This was probably one of my favourite book/novels so far. I really enjoyed the characters and the tempo. It is a page turner for sure, but it is just as touching as it is dramatic at times, there are sweet and funny moments I appreciate. Moments that are relatable. Even though fictional fantasy characters, they have their own doubts and fears, sometimes fierce, sometimes anxious and they are as vulnerable as they are strong. I like the dynamic. Thank you for the book!

Well-written interesting story! Very explicit, though, in terms of description of intimate moments - not for the prude readers! I liked the plot, it makes sense, and the details are well worked with. All in all, I enjoyed reading this for both the style of writing and the plot/ how the story unfolds. That said, I can only recommend the writer and look forward to reading the sequel (here’s to hoping there is one, which I shamefully haven't yet checked…).

Loved it. However in reading more proofing of spelling and names were mixed up a few times. Would be helpful as the reader to see the words as they are. A bit confusing in terms of the grandchildren not a lot of explanation was given as to if they were both boys as stated and then it says girl so all in all a bit more proofing reading before completion would be a good idea. However loved the story and would love to read the continuation.

I really enjoyed the story line. Tamara and Ryker made a great couple. There were times that I felt a little more information would have helped. For instance, when was Theo released from the dungeon? What was Lionel talking about as far as Janette holding a dagger to someone's throat? A lot of scenarios just weren't finished. And now they have a new enemy that has just shown up in the dining room. There should be a book 2 immediately following.
