Annotation

Feyre lived as a slave in her own house -with her father, stepmother, and half-siblings. She was the maid that was never paid for her services. One day, while pruning the garden, she saw an injured wolf. She helped it clean its injury and they became good friends. Life, at last, was smiling at Feyre. Until... She heard her father discussing with his friend about selling her off to repay his debts. Feyre decided that she was running off at that moment. She got caught by her family and her father began to beat her. The wolf she saved groaned at the ill-treatment and transformed into a human right there, surprising everyone. The two of them escaped and Feyre was happy that she was finally free. What she didn't know was that she was getting into an even deeper mess that was more than being a slave in her father's house.
