I was so annoyed with the ending of the first book "to be continued" it was a very cruel cliffhanger but to be honest I'm glad of it now as I don't think I would have read the books had they just been one longer book as unlocking the chapters drives me nuts when I'm engrossed in the story. And what an amazing story I would have missed out on! The book if full of errors and has obviously not been proof read or even spell checked to the point I sometimes had to reread paragraphs and edit them in my head so they made sense but the storyline was captivating and kept me so interested I was up all night as I just needed to read one more chapter, then one more to see what happened next etc before I went to sleep... then it was 7am opps. Hot storyline, some great twists and characters you both loved and hated in turn. Well worth the read if you can ignore the grammar errors.

Like that the story had roller coaster story lines that had movement from good, exciting sad, doubtful, angry and the full scope of emotions. Also like that there was justice where it needed to be There were some unfinished characters but perhaps that will be another book or story would recommend this as a nice short read or a vacation read Will definitely look for more like storylines form this venue and will look for more stories from this author

Absolutely gripped to this story. Just want to keep reading and wish that after the second there was a third. Really interesting story and well written. There are less spelling and grammar issues in this book compared to some of the others you find on this app so that is a big selling point in my opinion. I can’t put it down. Love the characters and will be sad when this story comes to an end. Has been an exciting journey

I was so glad to see the continuation of book one. I couldn’t even put it down, there was so much happening in this book there was happiness, despair, intrigue, friendship, betrayal, a story of two people who had to deal with many obstacles, including themselves. It was a real roller coaster as your opinion changed from chapter to chapter. I was so caught up in the story, it wasn’t till the end that I felt like we could breathe again.

The lost Bet 2 is not bad. It’s hot and steamy. It also answers all the questions you have after reading the prequel. It is questionable in regards to realism. Not sure how I feel about the likelihood of the story happening. Not likely to happen at all. Its a very good read if you’re not looking for any intellectual engagement. I was engaged when the female lead was slowly falling in love with the male lead again .

It gets 5 stars from me...I absolutely love it.I can only recommend it, I'm so looking forward to reading part 2this story is absolutely amazing....it is filled with so many emotions. you both hate and love Aslan and the main character is a super strong womanthe only thing is that Aslan can be a little too annoying when it comes to his own feelings. he is a little too proud and WAY too dominant. jrg can understand why the main character doesn't want to be with him

Definitely I am happy because I wanted to now what happened after Elena left Aslan in the altar and disappeared . Aslan behavior from my point of view is sick although he thinks he love Elena to die for her. Elena is a battered woman who is learning to love herself and stand for her. Both main characters are learning to find a way for their love and to surpass previous traumas and behaviors. Hoping for a happy ending with a healthy love at the end…Aslan is changing but have to improve more from my point of view.

I loved both parts of this story. I loved that it showed how with love and person really can change. Aslan was a really disreputable person with the way he used women without regard to their feelings. Then Elena came into his life and for the first time someone could not be bought. He lost his heart to her but he fought it tooth and nail as did she. They both made some really bad decisions but their love for each other won out in the end. I was so glad the author gave them a happy ending!
