Read a story with a similar backstory, where the main female character was set up by her half-sister, had a drunken one night stand with a unknown man, became pregnant, was disowned by her family, father died, gave birth to quads, first set of twins appeared stillborn yet were alive and were stolen by the evil half-sister. In the other story, the mother was left for dead in an abandoned building and it was set a blaze.... however she gave birth to another set of twins and was able to escape while mourning the death of her other two babies, unaware they were alive and stolen from her arms.....she too returned after five years to regain her inheritance....and the rest is pretty much similar. However, I do like how this main female character is stronger and doesn't take garbage from anyone. She also funny at times....no wallflower or victim here ....

Loved the book but it drug out a lot. What happened to Aarons autism? Did it just magically disappear when he found out Charlotte was his mom? That part didn't make sense cause you don't magically recover from it like you do a cold. And at the end of the book it just jumps to where Charlotte's youngest it now an adult in college, no warning or anything. It should have a warning that it was going to jump into the future and tell a completely different story

I really enjoyed this story watching Emily rise not only to be a successful business woman but also to be reunited with her 4 children, 2 of whom had been snatched, claimed and abused from birth by her sister. Then just as I thought there'd be a happy every after it took another twist which Emily had to overcome including being adopted by a different family. Then the final twist was reuniting with her daughter and her own story. I was hooked right till the end

I am always fascinated by the villains in stories and this was no exception. Both male and female villains are portrayed so well that you want to smack them. Makes me appreciative I do not know such people who would plan my demise. I enjoyed the first generation stories better than the second generation. Felt the last few chapters were a little far fetched but there were unexpected plot twists. Did not like Derek being a control freak in the last few chapters.

I loved how the story started with Emily and Derek. Or maybe more in depth details on their love story. I would have loved to hear more about the original characters. It through me off when it started to go into the storyline of Charlotte. It felt like a whole different story than what I started with. I was invested into Derek and Emily’s story just to read about them traveling abroad and leaving the company to the kids.

Overall it was a cute story, however I felt the way the author had the children acting and speaking would be highly unlikely for children of that age. At several places had Emily beating multiple person in fighting, yet was easily overtaken in another?? Next the author gave detailed descriptions but then just cut off the story of Emily and Derek and moved on to Charlotte. Last I would say that the story itself was not consistent, you have highly intelligent people ( talks about AI, computers) yet has their actions /tactics/ punishment like those of the dark ages. So if I could only use one word it would have to be inconsistent.

Very cute book, I love loved Derick and Emily‘s story and beautiful family. The closeness of the family is heartwarming. In today’s day and age it’s nice to think a family can be this close. I love Charlotte story. The family bond was heartwarming. How they support each other and protect one another. The plot was a little far-fetched. Charlotte’s character was sweet and strong. It was nice to see the growing pains. I look forward to seeing the whole family happy.

I like the childrens role in this novel, they can express their love to their mother without much envolvement of the adults. It showed that the bond of the mother and the children are very strong even not knowing the truth. I love how Emily handles the difficult situation she encounters. In life she learned that hardships can help her survival instinct to reach her goal for the future of her children. A strong woman and a good Mother. The role of the father here, apart from giving Ian snd Aaron their needs, he luck this vital feelings…like instinct to fatherhood relation to Diane and Cris..After all they have several encounters to know each other… Wow! I enjoyed reading this through the end. I liked how the children became and the parents love and care..At last congratulations to Charlotte and Kingsley’s found happiness in their lifetime.❤️💫

Good so far, a bit confusing at times with mistakes, wrong words and names like the boy was ill but then the wrong name was used, still enjoying tho it's a good story hoping it keeps getting better, they are very clever children for only being four I sometimes forget how young they are. I hope it doesn't go on too long before the truth is found out. Lots of drama a good read. I have watched many videos to keep reading.

I’m thoroughly enjoying this book, it’s an emotional roller coaster! 🥰🥰 The characters are engaging and funny, I can’t wait to read more of the series. The story is really interesting and the characters draw you in with their unique style and story plots. You think what could possibly happen next. But it’s never what you think. It’s really keeping me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to see what happens between Emily and Derrick🥰
