It kept me guessing. I never enjoy the hardships the characters go through but it reminds me that we all have our own demons to fight. I love fantasy and supernatural stories good job! The emberclaw twist was a nice change from the normal werewolf stories and the evil, power hungry leader it so true to form, they ate out there and we see them everywhere. It is good there was a happy ending but i wished tracey didnt die but that is alao life!

I am really enjoying this book so far. There are loyal friendships, intrigue, all mixed up with interesting relationships. The scenery and imagery described is enticing and detailed. Paints an impressive and alluring scene. I can’t wait to see where the story develops and the characters intertwine together. I still have so many questions and am excited to see if any of the scenarios I imagine will come true. The books keeps revisiting the beginning and it is very intriguing.

I really enjoyed the story line and couldn't wait to get the end! There were characters I loved to hate and those I hated to love, by the end. I enjoyed the twist on the different powers the Emberclaws possessed. I was rewarded with seeing that justice was served, but it was really hard to witness all that Layla went through. I would have loved to have gotten more details on Anna finding her mate. And my heart broke for Justin! Thanks for a great story!!!

Brilliant book gripped from the start I absolutely loved it well written and a great cast of characters and story line loved it will read more from this author It's a good development short read very in detail. I appreciate the supporting characters too. book easy to read and appreciate its low drama throughout the story. Five stars as always for imagination. It is nice to read a shifter book that varies from witches and rogue plot lines. So far all this books I've read have been very creative and variations from the norm. A very good thing

At the beginning of this book I was wondering if I should continue reading. Sebastian was definitely not my favorite person. The way he was treating Layla, he didn't like her. All he thought about was sex, he didn't care about his pack and didn't even train his warriors, they would've all died in a battle (sad).. I decided to give this book a chance and continue on reading. I made a great choice in continue reading. It turned out to a great book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, I didn't want to stop reading. Kade and Layla were great. Then there was Danielle, I didn't like her, when she came back into Kade's life, I was upset that he didn't kick her out, after all she left him. There was also Nate, he didn't care who came in the throne room when he had a girl pleasing him. After the war, when Layla came back I was starting to warm up to the characters. The book was amazing, the chapters could have been longer. Thank you Ms M. for the great read. 💚

I really enjoy this book almost as much as the last one that I read but not quite as much it's definitely a different kinds of read and well worth taking time to enjoy I think it's different having and with super wolfs or whatever you want to call it and it adds good depth I absolutely hate Danielle and her sugar sweet wanna be act I wish she wouldn't have came back she only makes kades life that much worse and complicates his feelings

This novel is great so far. I love how Layla rejects the Alpha right away. No hesitation. I also hope she ends up with Kade. He majorly screwed up but he does love her. Anne is a great character, she brings a lot to the story. I know Danielle is in on the emberclaws plans but, I haven't got it all figured out yet. I think Justin wants Layla. I am looking forward to see what happens with them.

This is a really good story. The characters were well written. They made me giggle, get angry, shed tears and feel emotions that I hadn't dealt with. Definitely worth reading. Not all characters find redemption or regret what they have become. I don't know what else to write that won't give spoilers. Just know this was definitely worth the read.

Well let’s see… the book started off ok but then it took a turn for the better that Layla got with someone who I assumed would give her what she truly needed in a mate. I fell to understand how someone can claim to love someone but also keep secrets from them but then turn around and ask that same person to trust them! Trust is earned not given. Then to have said person welcome their ex back like it was ok.
