This story hooked me from the very first chapter. You quickly get an idea about the characters. And it’s easy to see how the beginning isn’t going to end well. Julie, someone who has to deal with a husband who thinks it’s okay for him to do whatever he wants, a MIL that disapproves of her, and her own mother, a psycho in her own way. At the end, you breathe a sigh of relief that everything ended the way it was supposed to. And a life lesson-to find happiness, joy and laughter because life is too short to be burdened by all the negative things people throw at you. A well-written story. I wanted to knock Ryan upside the head a few times to knock some sense into him. Emily got what she deserved! Luke, someone that had some ugly stuff happen to him, and yet, he was able to recognize what he had in Julie. The plot was excellent. The characters were well-developed. The ending, happy as it should be! Thank you for a well-written story!!
