SPOILER ALERTS: The plot was captivating. However, the author often used the wrong characters name. It made the story confusing. Male lead was very abusive to Anastasia in the beginning. Yet she falls in love with him. Ana was naive/stupid. Ana didn't even try to figure out how she was drug the first time (she found herself naked in bed with a stranger). Ana knows her contract husband has a violent temper, but she repeatedly did stuff that would piss him off. Suck it up and do the smart thing. Use the body guard. Don't go to a strange guy's house alone. It is for only 3 months or at least follow the rules the first few weeks. The alarm bells should have went off when Ana discovered a photo with Jace and Liam. Yet Ana blindly accept Liam's excuse and did not try to figure out the true relationship between them. What ever happened to Ana's grandmother? There is no mention of her after the first visit. I cannot believe Ana went back to her step-mom and step-sister after she left Jace. They were evil to her. What is more surprising is how nice they were to her when she went back. I cannot believe a tiger can change its stripes that drastically. Overall, I wished I stop reading this novel after a few chapters. I prefer my novels to have a strong, intelligent main female character.
